John 6:1-24
After these thingsG3778 JesusG2424 wentG565 awayG565 beyond the seaG2281 of GalileeG1056, [or] of TiberiasG5085,
and a greatG4183 crowdG3793 followedG190 him, because they sawG3708 the signsG4592 which he wrought upon the sickG770.
And JesusG2424 went up into the mountainG3735, and there satG2521 with his disciplesG3101:
but the passoverG3957, the feastG1859 of the JewsG2453, wasG1510 near.
JesusG2424 then, liftingG1869 up his eyesG3788 and seeingG2300 that a greatG4183 crowdG3793 is comingG2064 to him, saysG3004 to PhilipG5376, Whence shall we buyG59 loavesG740 that these may eatG2068?
But this he saidG3004 trying him, for he knew what he was going to do.
PhilipG5376 answeredG611 him, LoavesG740 for twoG1250 hundredG1250 denariiG1220 are not sufficient for them, that each may have some littleG1024 [portion].
OneG1520 of his disciplesG3101, AndrewG406, SimonG4613 Peter's brotherG80, saysG3004 to him,
There isG1510 a little boy hereG5602 who has fiveG4002 barleyG2916 loavesG740 and twoG1417 small fishes; but this, what isG1510 it for so manyG5118?
[And] JesusG2424 saidG3004, MakeG4160 the menG444 sit down. NowG1161 there wasG1510 muchG4183 grassG5528 in the placeG5117: the menG444 thereforeG3767 sat downG377, in numberG706 about fiveG4000 thousandG4000.
And JesusG2424 tookG2983 the loavesG740, and having givenG1325 thanksG2168, distributed [them] to those that were set down; and in like manner of the small fishes as muchG3745 as they wouldG2309.
And whenG5613 they had been filled, he saysG3004 to his disciplesG3101, GatherG4863 togetherG4863 the fragmentsG2801 which are over and above, that nothing may be lostG622.
They gatheredG4863 [them] thereforeG3767 togetherG4863, and filledG1072 twelveG1427 hand-baskets full of fragmentsG2801 of the fiveG4002 barleyG2916 loavesG740, which were over and above to those that had eaten.
The menG444 thereforeG3767, having seenG3708 the signG4592 which Jesus had done, saidG3004, This isG1510 trulyG230 the prophetG4396 which isG1510 comingG2064 into the worldG2889.
JesusG2424 thereforeG3767 knowingG1097 that they were going to comeG2064 and seizeG726 him, that they might makeG4160 [him] kingG935, departed againG3825 to the mountainG3735 himself aloneG3441.
But whenG5613 eveningG3798 was comeG1096, his disciplesG3101 wentG2597 downG2597 to the seaG2281,
and having gone on board shipG4143, they went over the seaG2281 to CapernaumG2584. And it had alreadyG2235 becomeG1096 darkG4653, and JesusG2424 had not comeG2064 to them,
and the seaG2281 was agitated by a strong windG417 blowingG4154.
Having rowed then about twenty-five or thirtyG5144 stadia, they seeG2334 JesusG2424 walkingG4043 on the seaG2281 and comingG1096 near the shipG4143; and they were frightenedG5399.
But he saysG3004 to them, It isG1510 I: beG1510 not afraidG5399.
They were willingG2309 thereforeG3767 to receiveG2983 him into the shipG4143; and immediatelyG2112 the shipG4143 was at the landG1093 to which they went.
On the morrow the crowdG3793 which stoodG2476 on the otherG243 sideG4008 of the seaG2281, having seenG3708 that there wasG1510 no otherG243 little shipG4143 there except that into which his disciplesG3101 had got, and that JesusG2424 had not goneG565 with his disciplesG3101 into the shipG4143, but [that] his disciplesG3101 had goneG565 awayG565 aloneG3441;
(but other little ships out of TiberiasG5085 cameG2064 near to the placeG5117 whereG3699 they ateG2068 breadG740 after the LordG2962 had givenG2168 thanksG2168;)
whenG3753 thereforeG3767 the crowdG3793 sawG3708 that JesusG2424 wasG1510 not there, nor his disciplesG3101, they got into the ships, and cameG2064 to CapernaumG2584, seekingG2212 JesusG2424.
