Jeremiah 8:18-22
18My comfort in my sadness! my heartH3820 is faintH1742 in me! 19Behold the voiceH6963 of the cryH7775 of the daughterH1323 of my peopleH5971, from a very far country: Is not Jehovah in ZionH6726? Is not her kingH4428 in her? WhyH4069 have they provokedH3707 me to angerH3707 with their graven images, with foreign vanitiesH1892? 20The harvestH7105 is past, the summerH7019 is endedH3615, and we are not savedH3467. 21— For the breach of the daughterH1323 of my peopleH5971 am I crushed; I go mourningH6937; astonishment hath takenH2388 holdH2388 of me. 22Is there no balmH6875 in GileadH1568? is there no physicianH7495 there? WhyH4069 then is there no dressing applied for the healingH7495 of the daughterH1323 of my peopleH5971?
