Jeremiah 44:17-19
17but we will certainly do every wordH1697 that is goneH3318 forthH3318 out of our mouthH6310, to burn incenseH6999 to the queenH4446 of the heavensH8064, and to pourH5258 out drink-offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathersH1, our kingsH4428 and our princesH8269, in the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063 and in the streetsH2351 of JerusalemH3389; and we had plenty of breadH3899, and were well, and sawH7200 no evilH7451.
18But since we left off burning incenseH6999 to the queenH4446 of the heavensH8064, and pouring out drink-offerings to her, we have wanted everythingH3605, and have been consumed by the swordH2719 and by the famineH7458.
19And when we burned incenseH6999 to the queenH4446 of the heavensH8064 and poured out drink-offerings to her, did we makeH6213 for her cakes to portray her, and pourH5258 out drink-offerings to her, without our husbandsH376?
