Jeremiah 42:13-17
But if ye sayH559, We will not dwellH3427 in this landH776; so as not to hearken unto the voiceH6963 of Jehovah your 1GodH430,
sayingH559, No; but we will goH935 into the landH776 of EgyptH4714, whereH834 we shall seeH7200 no warH4421, nor hearH8085 the soundH6963 of the trumpetH7782, nor have hungerH7456 for breadH3899; and there will we dwellH3427;
— and nowH6258, thereforeH3651, hearH8085 the wordH1697 of Jehovah, ye remnantH7611 of JudahH3063: thusH3541 saith Jehovah of hostsH6635, the 2GodH430 of IsraelH3478: If ye really setH7760 your facesH6440 to enter into EgyptH4714, and goH935 to sojourn there,
then it shall come to pass, that the swordH2719 which ye fearH3372 shall overtakeH5381 you there in the landH776 of EgyptH4714, and the famineH7458, whereof ye are afraidH3372, shall follow hard after you there in EgyptH4714; and there ye shall dieH4191.
And it shall beH1961 that all the menH376 that have setH7760 their facesH6440 to goH935 into EgyptH4714 to sojourn there shall dieH4191 by the swordH2719, by the famineH7458, and by the pestilenceH1698; and none of them shall remain or escapeH6412 from the evilH7451 that I will bringH935 upon them.
