Jeremiah 37:14-19
And JeremiahH3414 saidH559, It is false: I am not deserting to the ChaldeansH3778. But he hearkened not to him; and IrijahH3376 laid hold on JeremiahH3414, and broughtH935 him to the princesH8269.
And the princesH8269 were wroth with JeremiahH3414, and smote him, and putH5414 him in the place of confinement in the houseH1004 of JonathanH3083 the scribeH5608: for they had madeH6213 that the prison.
When JeremiahH3414 was comeH935 into the dungeon and into the vaults, and JeremiahH3414 had remainedH3427 there manyH7227 daysH3117,
kingH4428 ZedekiahH6667 sentH7971 and tookH3947 him out. And the kingH4428 askedH7592 of him secretly in his houseH1004, and saidH559, Is there any wordH1697 from Jehovah? And JeremiahH3414 saidH559, There is; and he saidH559, Thou shalt be givenH5414 into the handH3027 of the kingH4428 of BabylonH894.
And JeremiahH3414 saidH559 unto kingH4428 ZedekiahH6667, What have I offended against thee, or against thy servantsH5650, or against this peopleH5971, that ye have putH5414 me in the prison?
And whereH834 are your prophetsH5030 that prophesiedH5012 unto you, sayingH559, The kingH4428 of BabylonH894 shall not comeH935 against you, nor against this landH776?
