Jeremiah 10:19-25
19WoeH188 is me, for my woundH4347! My stroke is hard to heal, and I had saidH559, Yea, this is [my] grief, and I will bearH5375 it. 20My tentH168 is despoiled, and all my cordsH4340 are broken; my children are goneH3318 forthH3318 from me, and they are not; there is none to stretchH5186 forthH3318 my tentH168 any more, and to setH6965 up my curtainsH3407. 21For the shepherdsH7462 are become brutish, and have not soughtH1875 Jehovah; thereforeH3651 have they not acted wisely, and all their flock is scatteredH6327. 22The voiceH6963 of a rumour! Behold, it cometh, and a greatH1419 commotion out of the northH6828 country, to makeH7760 the citiesH5892 of JudahH3063 a desolationH8077, a dwelling-place of jackalsH8577. 23I knowH3045, Jehovah, that the wayH1870 of manH376 is not his own; it is not in a manH376 that walketh to directH3559 his stepsH6806. 24Jehovah, correct me, but with judgmentH4941; not in thine angerH639, lestH6435 thou bring me to nothing. 25PourH8210 out thy fury upon the nationsH1471 that knowH3045 thee not, and upon the familiesH4940 that callH7121 not on thy nameH8034; for they have eatenH398 up JacobH3290, yea, they have eatenH398 him up and consumedH398 him, and have laid waste his dwelling-place.
