Acts 19:1-20
And it cameG2064 to passG1330, while ApollosG625 wasG1510 at CorinthG2882, PaulG3972, having passedG1330 through the upper districtsG3313, cameG2064 to EphesusG2181, and findingG2147 certainG5100 disciplesG3101,
he saidG3004 to them, Did ye receiveG2983 [the] HolyG40 SpiritG4151 when ye had believedG4100? And they [saidG3004] to him, We did not evenG3761 hearG191 if [the] HolyG40 SpiritG4151 wasG1510 [come].
And he saidG3004, To what thenG3767 were ye baptised? And they saidG3004, To the baptismG908 of JohnG2491.
And PaulG3972 saidG3004, JohnG2491 indeed baptised [with] the baptismG908 of repentanceG3341, sayingG3004 to the peopleG2992 that they should believeG4100 on him that wasG1510 comingG2064 after him, that isG1510, on JesusG2424.
And when they heardG191 that, they were baptised to the nameG3686 of the LordG2962 JesusG2424.
And PaulG3972 having laidG2007 [his] handsG5495 on them, the HolyG40 SpiritG4151 cameG2064 upon them, and they spokeG2980 with tonguesG1100 and prophesiedG4395.
And all the menG435 wereG1510 about twelveG1427.
And enteringG1525 into the synagogueG4864, he spokeG3955 boldlyG3955 during threeG5140 monthsG3376, reasoningG1256 and persuadingG3982 [the things] concerningG4012 the kingdomG932 of 1GodG2316.
But whenG5613 some were hardenedG4645 and disbelieved, speakingG2551 evilG2551 of the wayG3598 before the multitudeG4128, he left them and separatedG873 the disciplesG3101, reasoningG1256 daily in the school of Tyrannus.
And this took placeG1096 for twoG1417 yearsG2094, so that all that inhabited AsiaG773 heardG191 the wordG3056 of the LordG2962, both JewsG2453 and GreeksG1672.
And 2GodG2316 wrought no ordinary miracles by the handsG5495 of PaulG3972,
so that evenG2532 napkins or aprons were brought from his body [and put] upon the sickG770, and the diseasesG3554 left them, and the wickedG4190 spiritsG4151 wentG1607 out.
And certainG5100 of the JewishG2453 exorcists alsoG2532, who went about, took in hand to call upon those who had wickedG4190 spiritsG4151 the nameG3686 of the LordG2962 JesusG2424, sayingG3004, I adjureG3726 you by JesusG2424, whom PaulG3972 preachesG2784.
And there wereG1510 certainG5100 [menG3778], sevenG2033 sonsG5207 of Sceva, JewishG2453 highG749 priestG749, who wereG1510 doing this.
But the wickedG4190 spiritG4151 answeringG611 saidG3004 to them, JesusG2424 I knowG1097, and PaulG3972 I amG1510 acquainted with; but ye, who areG1510 ye?
And the manG444 in whom the wickedG4190 spiritG4151 wasG1510 leaped upon them, and having mastered both, prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that houseG3624 nakedG1131 and woundedG5135.
And this becameG1096 known to all, both JewsG2453 and GreeksG1672, who inhabited EphesusG2181, and fearG5401 fell upon all of them, and the nameG3686 of the LordG2962 JesusG2424 was magnifiedG3170.
And manyG4183 of those that believedG4100 cameG2064 confessingG1843 and declaringG312 their deedsG4234.
And manyG2425 of those that practised curious arts brought their booksG976 [of charms] and burnt them before all. And they reckoned up the prices of them, and foundG2147 it fifty thousand pieces of silverG694.
ThusG3779 with might the wordG3056 of the LordG2962 increasedG837 and prevailed.
