Luke 4:16-27
16And He cameG2064 to 1NazarethG3478, whereG3757 He had beenG1510 broughtG5142 up; and as was His customG1486, 2He enteredG1525 the synagogueG4864 on the SabbathG4521, and 3stoodG450 up to readG314. 17And the 4bookG975 of the prophetG4396 IsaiahG2268 was handedG1929 to Him. And He openedG455 the 5bookG975 and foundG2147 the placeG5117 whereG3757 it was writtenG1125,18“6The SpiritG4151 of the LordG2962 is upon Me, BecauseG3739G1752 He anointedG5548 Me to preachG2097 the gospelG2097 to the poorG4434. He has sentG649 Me to proclaimG2784 releaseG859 to the captivesG164, And recoveryG309 of sightG309 to the blindG5185, To setG649 freeG1722G859 those who are oppressedG2352,197To proclaimG2784 the favorableG1184 yearG1763 of the LordG2962.” 20And He 8closedG4428 the 9bookG975, gaveG591 it backG591 to the attendantG5257 and 10satG2523 downG2523; and the eyesG3788 of allG3956 in the synagogueG4864 were fixedG816 on Him. 21And He beganG757 to sayG3004 to them, “TodayG4594 thisG3778 ScriptureG1124 has been fulfilledG4137 in your 11hearingG3775.” 22And allG3956 were 12speakingG3140 wellG3140 of Him, and wonderingG2296 at the 13graciousG5485 wordsG3056 which 14were fallingG1607 from His lipsG4750; and they were sayingG3004, “15Is thisG3778 not Joseph’sG2501 sonG5207?” 23And He saidG3004 to them, “NoG3843 doubtG3843 you will quoteG3004 thisG3778 proverbG3850 to Me, ‘PhysicianG2395, healG2323 yourselfG4572! WhateverG3745 we heardG191 was doneG1096 16at CapernaumG2746, doG4160 hereG5602 in 17your hometownG3968 as wellG2532.’” 24And He saidG3004, “TrulyG281 I sayG3004 to you, 18noG3762 prophetG4396 is welcomeG1184 in his hometownG3968. 25But I sayG3004 to you in truthG225, there were manyG4183 widowsG5503 in IsraelG2474 19in the daysG2250 of ElijahG2243, whenG3753 the skyG3772 was shutG2808 up for threeG5140 yearsG2094 and sixG1803 monthsG3376, whenG5613 a greatG3173 famineG3042 cameG1096 overG1909 allG3956 the landG1093; 26and yet ElijahG2243 was sentG3992 to noneG3762 of them, but 20onlyG1487G3361 to 21ZarephathG4558, in the land of 22SidonG4606, to a womanG1135 who was a widowG5503. 27And there were manyG4183 lepersG3015 in IsraelG2474 in the timeG1909 of ElishaG1666 the prophetG4396; and noneG3762 of them was cleansedG2511, but 23onlyG1487G3361 NaamanG3483 the SyrianG4948.”
