Matthew 24:4-33
4And JesusG2424 answeredG611 and saidG3004 unto them, TakeG991 heedG991 that no man lead you astrayG4105. 5For manyG4183 shall comeG2064 in my nameG3686, sayingG3004, I amG1510 the ChristG5547; and shall lead manyG4183 astrayG4105. 6And ye shall hearG191 of warsG4171 and rumorsG189 of warsG4171; seeG3708 that ye beG1510 not troubled: for these thingsG3195 must needs comeG1096 to passG1096; but the endG5056 isG1510 not yet. 7For nationG1484 shall riseG1453 against nationG1484, and kingdomG932 against kingdomG932; and there shall beG1510 faminesG3042 and earthquakesG4578 in divers placesG5117. 8But all these thingsG3778 are the beginning of travail. 9Then shall they deliverG3860 you up unto tribulationG2347, and shall killG615 you: and ye shall beG1510 hatedG3404 of all the nationsG1484 for my name’sG3686 sakeG1223. 10And then shall manyG4183 stumbleG4624, and shall deliverG3860 up oneG240 another, and shall hateG3404 oneG240 another. 11And manyG4183 falseG5578 prophetsG5578 shall ariseG1453, and shall lead manyG4183 astrayG4105. 12And because iniquity shall be multipliedG4129, the loveG26 of the manyG4183 shall wax cold. 13But he that endureth to the endG5056, the same shall be savedG4982. 14And this gospelG2098 of the kingdomG932 shall be preachedG2784 in the wholeG3650 worldG3625 for a testimonyG3142 unto all the nationsG1484; and then shall the endG5056 comeG2240.
15WhenG3752 thereforeG3767 ye seeG3708 the abominationG946 of desolationG2050, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophetG4396, standingG2476 in the holyG40 placeG5117 (let him that readeth understandG3539), 16thenG5119 let them that are in Judæa fleeG5343 unto the mountainsG3735: 17let him that is on the housetopG1430 not goG2597 down to takeG142 out the things that are in his houseG3614: 18and let him that is in the fieldG68 not returnG1994 backG1994 to takeG142 his cloakG2440. 19But woeG3759 unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those daysG2250! 20And prayG4336 ye that your flight be not in the winterG5494, neither on a sabbathG4521: 21for thenG5119 shall beG1510 greatG3173 tribulationG2347, suchG3634 as hath not beenG1510 from the beginning of the worldG2889 until nowG3568, no, nor ever shall beG1510. 22And except those daysG2250 had been shortenedG2856, no fleshG4561 would have been savedG4982: but for the elect’s sakeG1223 those daysG2250 shall be shortenedG2856. 23ThenG5119 if any man shall sayG3004 unto you, Lo, hereG5602 is the ChristG5547, or, HereG5602; believeG4100 it not. 24For there shall ariseG1453 falseG5578 ChristsG5580, and falseG5578 prophetsG5578, and shall show greatG3173 signsG4592 and wondersG5059; so as to lead astrayG4105, if possibleG1415, evenG2532 the electG1588. 25BeholdG2400, I have told you beforehand. 26If thereforeG3767 they shall sayG3004 unto you, BeholdG2400, he isG1510 in the wildernessG2048; goG1831 not forthG1831: BeholdG2400, he isG1510 in the innerG5009 chambers; believeG4100 it not. 27For as the lightningG796 cometh forthG1831 from the eastG395, and isG1510 seen evenG2532 unto the westG1424; so shall beG1510 the coming of the SonG5207 of manG444. 28Wheresoever the carcase isG1510, there will the eagles beG1510 gatheredG4863 togetherG4863.
29But immediatelyG2112 after the tribulationG2347 of those daysG2250 the sunG2246 shall be darkenedG4654, and the moonG4582 shall not giveG1325 her lightG5338, and the starsG792 shall fallG4098 from heavenG3772, and the powersG1411 of the heavensG3772 shall be shakenG4531: 30and then shall appearG5316 the signG4592 of the SonG5207 of manG444 in heavenG3772: and then shall all the tribesG5443 of the earthG1093 mournG2875, and they shall seeG3708 the SonG5207 of manG444 comingG2064 on the cloudsG3507 of heavenG3772 with powerG1411 and greatG4183 gloryG1391. 31And he shall sendG649 forthG649 his angelsG32 with a greatG3173 sound of a trumpetG4536, and they shall gatherG1996 togetherG1996 his electG1588 from the fourG5064 windsG417, from oneG3588 endG206 of heavenG3772 to the other.
32NowG1161 from the figG4808 treeG4808 learnG3129 her parableG3850: whenG3752 her branchG2798 is nowG1161 becomeG1096 tenderG527, and putteth forthG1631 its leaves, ye knowG1097 that the summerG2330 is nigh; 33evenG2532 so ye alsoG2532, whenG3752 ye seeG3708 all these thingsG3778, knowG1097 ye that he isG1510 nigh, evenG2532 at the doorsG2374.
