Leviticus 1

1And Jehovah calledH7121 unto MosesH4872, and spake unto him out of the tentH168 of meetingH4150, sayingH559, 2SpeakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, and sayH559 unto them, When any manH120 of you offereth an oblation unto Jehovah, ye shall offer your oblation of the cattleH929, even of the herdH1241 and of the flockH6629.

3If his oblation be a burnt-offering of the herdH1241, he shall offer it a maleH2145 without blemish: he shall offer it at the doorH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150, that he may be accepted before Jehovah. 4And he shall lay his handH3027 upon the headH7218 of the burnt-offering; and it shall be acceptedH7521 for him to make atonementH3722 for him. 5And he shall kill the bullock before Jehovah: and Aaron’s sonsH1121, the priestsH3548, shall presentH7126 the bloodH1818, and sprinkleH2236 the bloodH1818 roundH5439 about upon the altarH4196 that is at the doorH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150. 6And he shall flay the burnt-offering, and cutH5408 it into its piecesH5409. 7And the sonsH1121 of AaronH175 the priestH3548 shall putH5414 fireH784 upon the altarH4196, and lay woodH6086 in order upon the fireH784; 8and Aaron’s sonsH1121, the priestsH3548, shall lay the piecesH5409, the headH7218, and the fat, in order upon the woodH6086 that is on the fireH784 which is upon the altarH4196: 9but its inwards and its legsH3767 shall he washH7364 with waterH4325. And the priestH3548 shall burn the whole on the altarH4196, for a burnt-offering, an offeringH801 made by fireH801, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.

10And if his oblation be of the flockH6629, of the sheepH6629, or of the goatsH5795, for a burnt-offering; he shall offer it a maleH2145 without blemish. 11And he shall kill it on the side of the altarH4196 northward before Jehovah: and Aaron’s sonsH1121, the priestsH3548, shall sprinkleH2236 its bloodH1818 upon the altarH4196 roundH5439 about. 12And he shall cutH5408 it into its piecesH5409, with its headH7218 and its fat; and the priestH3548 shall lay them in order on the woodH6086 that is on the fireH784 which is upon the altarH4196: 13but the inwards and the legsH3767 shall he washH7364 with waterH4325. And the priestH3548 shall offer the whole, and burn it upon the altarH4196: it is a burnt-offering, an offeringH801 made by fireH801, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.

14And if his oblation to Jehovah be a burnt-offering of birdsH5775, then he shall offer his oblation of turtle-doves, or of youngH1121 pigeons. 15And the priestH3548 shall bringH7126 it unto the altarH4196, and wring off its headH7218, and burn it on the altarH4196; and the bloodH1818 thereof shall be drainedH4680 out on the sideH7023 of the altarH4196; 16and he shall take awayH5493 its crop with the filth thereof, and castH7993 it beside the altarH4196 on the eastH6924 part, in the placeH4725 of the ashesH1880: 17and he shall rend it by the wingsH3671 thereof, but shall not divide it asunder. And the priestH3548 shall burn it upon the altarH4196, upon the woodH6086 that is upon the fireH784: it is a burnt-offering, an offeringH801 made by fireH784, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.
