Luke 21:5-36
And as some spokeG3004 of the temple, that it was adornedG2885 with goodly stonesG3037 and consecrated offerings, he saidG3004,
[As to] these thingsG3778 which ye are beholding, daysG2250 are comingG2064 in which there shall not be leftG863 stoneG3037 upon stoneG3037 which shall not be thrown downG2647.
And they askedG1905 him sayingG3004, TeacherG1320, whenG3752 then shall these thingsG3778 beG1510; and what [isG1510] the signG4592 whenG3752 these thingsG3778 areG1510 going to take placeG1096?
And he saidG3004, SeeG991 that ye beG1510 not led astrayG4105, for manyG4183 shall comeG2064 in my nameG3686, sayingG3004, I amG1510 [he], and the timeG2540 isG1510 drawn nigh: goG4198 ye not [therefore] after them.
And whenG3752 ye shall hearG191 of warsG4171 and tumults, be not terrified, for these thingsG3778 must firstG4413 take placeG1096, but the endG5056 is not immediatelyG2112.
Then he saidG3004 to them, NationG1484 shall riseG1453 up against nationG1484, and kingdomG932 against kingdomG932;
there shall beG1510 both greatG3173 earthquakesG4578 in different placesG5117, and faminesG3042 and pestilences; and there shall beG1510 fearful sights and greatG3173 signsG4592 from heavenG3772.
But before all these thingsG3778 they shall lay their handsG5495 upon you and persecuteG1377 you, deliveringG3860 [you] up to synagoguesG4864 and prisonsG5438, bringing [you] before kingsG935 and governorsG2232 on account of my nameG3686;
but it shall turn out to you for a testimonyG3142.
Settle thereforeG3767 in your heartsG2588 not to meditate beforehand [your] defence,
for I will giveG1325 you a mouthG4750 and wisdomG4678 which all your opposers shall not be ableG1410 to reply to or resistG436.
But ye will be deliveredG3860 up evenG2532 by parentsG1118 and brethren and relations and friendsG5384, and they shall putG2289 to deathG2289 [some] from among you,
and ye will beG1510 hatedG3404 of all for my name's sakeG1223.
And a hairG2359 of your headG2776 shall in no wise perishG622.
By your patientG5281 enduranceG5281 gainG2932 your soulsG5590.
But whenG3752 ye seeG3708 JerusalemG2419 encompassed with armies, thenG5119 knowG1097 that its desolationG2050 is drawn nigh.
Then let those who are in Judaea fleeG5343 to the mountainsG3735, and those who are in the midstG3319 of it depart out, and those who are in the countryG5561 not enterG1525 into it;
for these areG1510 daysG2250 of avenging, that all the thingsG3778 that areG1510 writtenG1125 may beG1510 accomplished.
But woeG3759 to them that areG1510 with child and to them who give suck in those daysG2250, for there shall beG1510 greatG3173 distressG318 upon the landG1093 and wrathG3709 upon this peopleG2992.
And they shall fallG4098 by the edge of the swordG3162, and beG1510 led captiveG163 into all the nationsG1484; and JerusalemG2419 shall beG1510 troddenG3961 downG4098 of [the] nationsG1484 until [the] timesG2540 of [the] nationsG1484 beG1510 fulfilled.
And there shall beG1510 signsG4592 in sunG2246 and moonG4582 and starsG798, and upon the earthG1093 distress of nationsG1484 in perplexity [at] the roar of the seaG2281 and rolling waves,
menG444 ready to die through fearG5401 and expectationG4329 of what is comingG1904 on the habitable earthG3625, for the powersG1411 of the heavensG3772 shall be shakenG4531.
And then shall they seeG3708 the SonG5207 of manG444 comingG2064 in a cloudG3507 with powerG1411 and greatG4183 gloryG1391.
But when these thingsG3778 beginG757 to comeG1096 to passG1096, look up and liftG1869 up your headsG2776, because your redemptionG629 draws nigh.
And he spokeG3004 a parableG3850 to them: Behold the fig-tree and all the treesG1186;
whenG3752 they alreadyG2235 sprout, ye knowG1097 of your ownG1438 selves, [on] lookingG991 [at them], that alreadyG2235 the summerG2330 isG1510 near.
So alsoG2532 ye, whenG3752 ye seeG3708 these thingsG3778 take placeG1096, knowG1097 that the kingdomG932 of 1GodG2316 isG1510 near.
Verily I sayG3004 unto you, that this generationG1074 shall in no wise passG3928 awayG3928 until all comeG1096 to passG3928.
The heavenG3772 and the earthG1093 shall passG3928 awayG3928, but my wordsG3056 shall in no wise passG3928 awayG3928.
But takeG4337 heed to yourselves lest possibly your heartsG2588 be laden with surfeiting and drinking and caresG3308 of lifeG982, and that dayG2250 comeG2186 upon you suddenlyG160 unawares;
for as a snareG3803 shall it comeG1904 upon all them that dwell upon the faceG4383 of the whole earthG1093.
WatchG69 therefore, prayingG1189 at every seasonG2540, that ye may be accounted worthy to escapeG1628 all these thingsG3778 which are about to comeG1096 to passG1096, and to standG2476 before the SonG5207 of manG444.
