Galatians 3

1O senseless Galatians, who has bewitched you; to whom, as before your very eyesG3788, JesusG2424 ChristG5547 has been portrayed, crucifiedG4717 [among you]? 2This onlyG3440 I wishG2309 to learnG3129 of you, Have ye receivedG2983 the SpiritG4151 on the principleG3551 of worksG2041 of lawG3551, or of [the] reportG189 of faithG4102? 3AreG1510 ye soG3779 senseless? having begun in SpiritG4151, areG1510 ye going to beG1510 made perfect in fleshG4561? 4Have ye sufferedG3958 so manyG5118 things in vainG1500, if indeed alsoG2532 in vainG1500? 5He thereforeG3767 who ministers to you the SpiritG4151, and worksG2041 miracles among you, [is it] on the principleG3551 of worksG2041 of lawG3551, or of [the] reportG189 of faithG4102? 6EvenG2532 as AbrahamG11 believedG4100 1GodG2316, and it was reckonedG3049 to him as righteousnessG1343. 7KnowG1097 thenG686 that they that areG1510 on the principle of faithG4102, these areG1510 Abraham's sonsG5207; 8and the scriptureG1124, foreseeing that 2GodG2316 would justifyG1344 the nationsG1484 on the principle of faithG4102, announced beforehand the glad tidings to AbrahamG11: In thee all the nationsG1484 shall be blessed. 9SoG5620 that they who are on the principle of faithG4102 are blessedG2127 with believing AbrahamG11. 10For as manyG3745 as areG1510 on the principleG3551 of worksG2041 of lawG3551 areG1510 under curseG2671. It was addedG4369 for the sakeG1223 of transgressionsG3847, until the seedG4690 cameG2064 to whom the promiseG1861 was made, ordained through angelsG32 in [the] handG5495 of a mediatorG3316. 20But a mediatorG3316 isG1510 not of oneG1520, but 6GodG2316 isG1510 oneG1520. 21[IsG1510] thenG3767 the lawG3551 against the promisesG1860 of 7GodG2316? Far beG1510 the thought. For if a lawG3551 had beenG1510 givenG1325 ableG1410 to quicken, thenG3767 indeedG3689 righteousnessG1343 wereG1510 on the principleG3551 of lawG3551; 22but the scriptureG1124 has shut up all thingsG3956 under sinG266, that the promiseG1860, on the principle of faithG4102 of JesusG2424 ChristG5547, should be givenG1325 to those that believeG4100. 23But before faithG4102 cameG2064, we were guarded under lawG3551, shut up to faithG4102 [which was] about to be revealedG601. 24SoG2443 that the lawG3551 has been our tutor up to ChristG5547, that we might be justifiedG1344 on the principleG3551 of faithG4102. 25But, faithG4102 having comeG2064, we areG1510 no longer under a tutor; 26for ye areG1510 all 8God's sonsG5207 by faithG4102 in ChristG5547 JesusG2424. 27For ye, as manyG3745 as have been baptised unto ChristG5547, have putG1746 on ChristG5547. 28There isG1510 no JewG2453 nor GreekG1672; there isG1510 no bondman nor freeman; there isG1510 no maleG730 and femaleG2338; for ye areG1510 all oneG1520 in ChristG5547 JesusG2424: 29but if ye [areG1510] of ChristG5547, thenG1161 ye areG1510 Abraham's seedG4690, heirsG2818 accordingG2596 to promiseG1860.
