Ezekiel 42
Darby Bible
1And he broughtH935 me forthH3318 into the outerH2435 courtH2691, the wayH1870 toward the northH6828; and he broughtH935 me to the cells that were over against the separateH1508 place and which were over against the building, toward the northH6828, 2before the lengthH753 of the hundredH3967 cubitsH520: the entry was on the northH6828, and the breadthH7341 was fiftyH2572 cubitsH520, 3over against the twentyH6242 [cubits] that pertained to the innerH6442 courtH2691, and over against the pavementH7531 that pertained to the outerH2435 courtH2691; there was galleryH862 against galleryH862 in the thirdH7992 [story]; 4and before the cells was a walk of tenH6235 cubitsH520 in breadthH7341, [and] a wayH1870 of a hundred cubitsH520 inward; and their entries were toward the northH6828. 5And the upperH5945 cells, because the galleries encroached on them, were shorter than the lower, and than the middle-most of the building. 6For they were in threeH8027 [stories], but had not pillarsH5982 as the pillarsH5982 of the courts; thereforeH3651 [the thirdH8027 story] was straitened more than the lowest and the middle-most from the groundH776. 7And the wallH1447 that was without, answering to the cells, toward the outerH2435 courtH2691 in the front of the cells, its lengthH753 was fiftyH2572 cubitsH520: 8for the lengthH753 of the cells that were against the outerH2435 courtH2691 was fiftyH2572 cubitsH520; but behold, before the templeH1964 it was a hundredH3967 cubitsH520. 9And under these cells was the entry from the eastH6921, as one goeth into them from the outerH2435 courtH2691. 10In the breadthH7341 of the wallH1444 of the courtH2691 toward the south, before the separateH1508 place, and before the building, were cells; 11and a passage before them, like the appearanceH4758 of the cells that were toward the northH6828, according to their lengthH753, according to their breadthH7341 and all their goings out, and according to their fashions, and according to their doorsH6607. 12And according to the doorsH6607 of the cells that were toward the southH1864 there was a doorH6607 at the headH7218 of the wayH1870, the wayH1870 directly before the corresponding wallH1448 toward the eastH6921 as oneH834 entereth into them. 13And he saidH559 unto me, The northH6828 cells [and] the southH1864 cells, which are before the separateH1508 placeH4725, they are holyH6944 cells, whereH834 the priestsH3548 that come near unto Jehovah shall eatH398 the most holyH6944 thingsH6944; there shall they lay the most holyH6944 thingsH6944, both the oblation and the sin-offering and the trespass-offering: for the placeH4725 is holyH6944. 14When the priestsH3548 enter in, they shall not goH3318 forthH3318 from the sanctuaryH6944 into the outerH2435 courtH2691, but there they shall lay their garmentsH899 wherein they minister, for they are holyH6944; and they shall putH3847 on otherH312 garmentsH899, and shall approach to that which is for the peopleH5971. 15And whenH834 he had made an endH3615 of measuringH4060 the innerH6442 houseH1004, he broughtH3318 me forthH3318 toward the gateH8179 whose front was toward the eastH6921, and measuredH4058 [the enclosure] roundH5439 about. 16He measuredH4058 the eastH6921 side with the measuring-reed, fiveH2568 hundred reedsH7070, with the measuring-reed roundH5439 about. 17He measuredH4058 the northH6828 side, fiveH2568 hundredH3967 reedsH7070, with the measuring-reed roundH5439 about. 18He measuredH4058 the southH1864 sideH7307, fiveH2568 hundredH3967 reedsH7070, with the measuring-reed. 19He turnedH5437 about to the westH3220 sideH7307, [and] measuredH4058 fiveH2568 hundredH3967 reedsH7070 with the measuring-reed. 20He measuredH4058 it on the fourH702 sides; it had a wallH2346 roundH5439 about, fiveH2568 hundredH3967 long, and fiveH2568 hundredH3967 broad, to make a separation between that which was holyH6944 and that which was common.
