Ezekiel 39
Darby Bible
1And thou, sonH1121 of manH120, prophesyH5012 against GogH1463, and sayH559, ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O GogH1463, princeH5387 of Rosh, MeshechH4902, and TubalH8422; 2and I will turnH7725 thee backH7725, and lead thee, and will cause thee to comeH935 up from the uttermost northH6828, and will bringH935 thee upon the mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478. 3And I will smite thy bowH7198 out of thy left handH3027, and will cause thine arrowsH2671 to fallH5307 out of thy rightH3225 handH3027. 4Thou shalt fallH5307 upon the mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478, thou, and all thy bands, and the peoplesH5971 that are with thee: I have givenH5414 thee to be meat for the birdsH6833 of preyH5861 of every wingH3671, and to the beasts of the fieldH7704. 5Thou shalt fallH5307 on the open fieldH7704; for I have spokenH1696 [it], saith the LordH136 Jehovah. 6And I will sendH7971 a fireH784 on MagogH4031, and among them that dwellH3427 at ease in the isles: and they shall knowH3045 that I [am] Jehovah. 7And my holyH6944 nameH8034 will I makeH3045 knownH3045 in the midstH8432 of my peopleH5971 IsraelH3478; and I will not suffer my holyH6944 nameH8034 to be profanedH2490 any more: and the nationsH1471 shall knowH3045 that I [am] Jehovah, the HolyH6944 OneH6918 in IsraelH3478. 8Behold, it cometh, and shall beH1961 done, saith the LordH136 Jehovah. This is the dayH3117 whereof I have spokenH1696. 9And they that dwellH3427 in the citiesH5892 of IsraelH3478 shall goH3318 forthH3318, and shall kindleH1197 fireH784, and burnH1197 weaponsH5402, and shieldsH4043, and targets, bowsH7198, and arrowsH2671, and hand-staves, and spearsH7420: and they shall make firesH784 with them sevenH7651 yearsH8141. 10And no woodH6086 shall be takenH5375 out of the fieldH7704, neither cutH2404 down out of the forests; for they shall make fireH784 with the weaponsH5402; and they shall spoilH962 those that spoiled them, and plunderH962 those that plunderedH962 them, saith the LordH136 Jehovah. 11And it shall come to passH5674 in that dayH3117, [that] I will giveH5414 unto GogH1463 a placeH4725 there for burialH6913 in IsraelH3478, the valleyH1516 of the passers-by to the eastH6926 of the seaH3220; and it shall stop [the way] of the passers-by; and there shall they buryH6912 GogH1463 and all the multitudeH1995; and they shall callH7121 it, ValleyH1516 of Hamon-GogH1996. 12And sevenH7651 monthsH2320 shall the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 be buryingH6912 them, that they may cleanseH2891 the landH776; 13and all the peopleH5971 of the landH776 shall buryH6912 [them]; and it shall beH1961 to them for renown in the dayH3117 that I shall beH1961 glorifiedH3513, saith the LordH136 Jehovah. 14And they shall sever out menH376 of continual employment to go through the landH776, who, with the passers-by, shall buryH6912 those that remainH3498 upon the faceH6440 of the landH776, to cleanseH2891 it: at the endH7097 of sevenH7651 monthsH2320 shall they make a searchH2713. 15And the passers-by shall passH5674 through the landH776, and when [any] seeth a man's boneH6106, he shall set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buriedH6912 it in the ValleyH1516 of Hamon-GogH1996. 16And alsoH1571 the nameH8034 of the cityH5892 shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanseH2891 the landH776. 17And thou, sonH1121 of manH120, thusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: Speak unto the birdsH6833 of every wingH3671, and to every beast of the fieldH7704, GatherH6908 yourselves together and comeH935, assemble yourselves on every side to my sacrificeH2077 which I sacrificeH2077 for you, a greatH1419 sacrificeH2077 upon the mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478, that ye may eatH398 fleshH1320, and drinkH8354 bloodH1818. 18Ye shall eatH398 the fleshH1320 of the mightyH1368, and drinkH8354 the bloodH1818 of the princesH5387 of the earthH776, of ramsH352, of lambsH3733, and of goatsH6260, [and] of bullocks, all of them fatted beasts of BashanH1316. 19And ye shall eatH398 fatH2459 till ye are full, and drinkH8354 bloodH1818 till ye are drunken, of my sacrificeH2077 which I sacrificeH2077 for you. 20And ye shall be filled at my tableH7979 with horsesH5483 and charioteersH7393, with mightyH1368 menH376, and with all menH376 of warH4421, saith the LordH136 Jehovah. 21And I will setH7760 my gloryH3519 among the nationsH1471, and all the nationsH1471 shall seeH7200 my judgmentH4941 which I have executed, and my handH3027 which I have laid upon them. 22And the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 shall knowH3045 that I [am] Jehovah their 1GodH430 from that dayH3117 and forward. 23And the nationsH1471 shall knowH3045 that the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 went into captivity for their iniquityH5771, because they were unfaithful against me; and I hidH5641 my faceH6440 from them, and gaveH5414 them into the handH3027 of their enemies, so that they fellH5307 all of them by the swordH2719. 24According to their uncleannessH2932 and according to their transgressionsH6588 I did unto them, and I hidH5641 my faceH6440 from them. 25ThereforeH3651, thusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: NowH6258 will I bringH7725 again the captivityH7622 of JacobH3290, and have mercyH7355 upon the whole houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, and will be jealousH7065 for my holyH6944 nameH8034: 26and they shall bearH5375 their confusion, and all their unfaithfulnessH4604 in which they have actedH4603 unfaithfully against me, whenH834 they shall dwellH3427 safely in their landH127, and none shall make them afraid; 27when I have broughtH7725 them again from the peoplesH5971, and gatheredH6908 them out of their enemies' landsH776, and am hallowed in them in the sight of manyH7227 nationsH1471. 28And they shall knowH3045 that I [am] Jehovah their 2GodH430, in that I caused them to be led into captivity among the nationsH1471, and have gathered them unto their own landH127, and have leftH3498 none of them any more there. 29And I will not hideH5641 my faceH6440 any more from them, for I shall have pouredH8210 out my SpiritH7307 upon the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, saith the LordH136 Jehovah.
