Ezekiel 42

Chambers for the Priests
1Then the man led me outH3318 northwardH1870H6828 intoH413 the outerH2435 courtH2691, and he brought meH935 toH413 the group of chambersH3957 oppositeH5048 the temple courtyardH1508 andH5048 theH1146 outer wall onH413 the north sideH6828. 2The buildingH753 with the doorH6607 facing northH6828 was a hundredH3967 cubitsH520 longH7341 and fiftyH2572 cubits wideH520.1 3GalleryH862 facedH413H6440 galleryH862 in three levelsH7992 oppositeH5048 the twentyH6242 cubits2 thatH834 belonged to the innerH6442 courtH2691 and oppositeH5048 the pavementH7531 thatH834 belonged to the outerH2435 courtH2691.
4In frontH6440 of the chambersH3957 was an inner walkwayH4109H413H6442 tenH6235 cubitsH520 wideH7341 and aH259 hundred cubitsH520 longH1870.3 Their doorsH6607 were on the northH6828.
5Now the upperH5945 chambersH3957 were smallerH7114 becauseH3588 the galleriesH862 took more spaceH398 from the chambers on the lowerH8481 and middle floorsH8484 of the buildingH1146. 6ForH3588 theyH2007 were arranged in three storiesH8027, and unlikeH5982 the courtsH2691, they had noH369 pillarsH5982. SoH5921H3651 the upper chambers were set back furtherH680 than the lowerH8481 and middle floorsH8484. 7An outerH2351 wallH1447 inH413 frontH6440 of the chambersH3957 was fiftyH2572 cubitsH520 longH753 and ran parallel toH5980 the chambersH3957 and the outerH2435 courtH2691. 8ForH3588 the chambersH3957 on the outerH2435 courtH2691 were fiftyH2572 cubitsH520H2009 longH753, while those facingH5921H6440 the templeH1964 were a hundredH3967 cubitsH520 long. 9And belowH8478 theseH428 chambersH3957 was the entranceH3996 on the east sideH6921 as one entersH935 them from the outerH2435 courtH2691.
10On theH1870 south sideH69214 along the lengthH7341 of the wallH1444 of the outer courtH2691 were chambersH3957 adjoiningH6440 the courtyardH1508 andH413 oppositeH6440 the buildingH1146, 11with a passagewayH1870 in front of themH6440H4758, just like the chambersH3957 that wereH834 onH1870 the northH6828. They had the same lengthH753H3651 and widthH7341, with similarH3605 exitsH4161 andH4941H6607 dimensions. 12And corresponding to the doorsH6607 of the chambersH3957 thatH834 were facingH1870 southH1864, there was a doorH6607 in frontH7218 of the walkwayH1870 that was parallelH6440 to the wallH1448 extendingH1903H1870 eastwardH6921.
13Then the man saidH559 to meH413, “The northH6828 and southH1864 chambersH3957 facingH834H413H6440 the temple courtyardH1508H2007 are the holyH6944 chambersH3957 whereH834 the priestsH3548 whoH834 approachH7138 the LORDH3068 will eatH398 the most holy offeringsH6944. ThereH8033 they will placeH5117 the most holy offeringsH6944—the grain offeringsH4503, the sin offeringsH2403, and the guilt offeringsH817—forH3588 the placeH4725 is holyH6918. 14Once the priestsH3548 have enteredH935 the holy areaH6944, they must notH3808 go outH3318 intoH413 the outerH2435H8033 courtH2691 until they have left behindH5117 the garmentsH899 in whichH834 they ministerH8334, forH3588 theseH2007 are holyH6944. They are to put onH3847 otherH312 clothesH899 before they approachH7126H413 the places that areH834 for the peopleH5971.”
The Outer Measurements
15Now when the man had finishedH3615 measuringH4060 the interiorH6442 of the temple areaH1004, he led me outH3318 byH1870 the gateH8179 thatH834 facedH6440H1870 eastH6921, and he measuredH4058 the area allH5439 aroundH5439:
16With a measuringH4060 rodH7070 he measuredH4058 the eastH6921 sideH7307 to be fiveH2568 hundredH520 cubits long.5 17He measuredH4058 the northH6828 sideH7307 to be fiveH2568 hundredH3967 cubitsH7070 long. 18He measuredH4058 the southH1864 sideH7307 to be fiveH2568 hundredH3967 cubitsH7070 long. 19And he came aroundH5437 and measuredH4058 the westH3220 sideH7307 to be fiveH2568 hundredH3967 cubitsH7070 long.
20So he measuredH4058 the area on all fourH702 sidesH7307. It had a wallH2346 allH5439 aroundH5439, fiveH2568 hundredH3967 cubits longH753 and fiveH2568 hundredH3967 cubits wideH7341, to separateH914H996 the holyH6944 from the commonH2455.
