Ezekiel 2
Darby Bible
1And he saidH559 unto me, SonH1121 of manH120, standH5975 upon thy feetH7272, and I will speakH1696 with thee. 2And the SpiritH7307 entered into me whenH834 he spokeH1696 unto me, and setH5975 me upon my feetH7272; and I heardH8085 him that spokeH1696 unto me. 3And he saidH559 unto me, SonH1121 of manH120, I sendH7971 thee to the children of IsraelH3478, to nationsH1471 that are rebellious, which have rebelledH4775 against me: they and their fathersH1 have transgressedH6586 against me unto this very dayH3117; 4and these children are impudent and hard-hearted: I am sendingH7971 thee unto them; and thou shalt sayH559 unto them, ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah. 5And they, whether they will hearH8085 or whether they will forbear — for they are a rebelliousH4805 houseH1004 — yet shall they knowH3045 that there hath beenH1961 a prophetH5030 among them. 6And thou, sonH1121 of manH120, be not afraidH3372 of them, and be not afraidH3372 of their wordsH1697; for briars and thorns are with thee, and thou dwellest among scorpionsH6137: be not afraidH3372 of their wordsH1697, and be not dismayedH2865 at their facesH6440; for they are a rebelliousH4805 houseH1004. 7And thou shalt speakH1696 my wordsH1697 unto them, whether they will hearH8085 or whether they will forbear; for they are rebelliousH4805. 8And thou, sonH1121 of manH120, hearH8085 what I sayH1696 unto thee; beH1961 not thou rebelliousH4805 like that rebelliousH4805 houseH1004: openH6475 thy mouthH6310, and eatH398 that I giveH5414 thee. 9And I lookedH7200, and behold, a handH3027 was put forthH7971 toward me; and behold, a roll of a bookH5612 therein. 10And he spreadH6566 it out before me; and it was writtenH3789 within and without; and there were writtenH3789 in it lamentationsH7015, and mourning, and woe.
