24“NowδὲdeG1161the one who had receivedεἰληφὼςeilēphōsG2983the oneἓνhenG1520talentτάλαντονtalantonG5007alsoG2532cameπροσελθὼνproselthōnG4334upG4334and saidG3004, ‘Masterκύριε,kurieG2962,I knewἔγνωνegnōnG1097you to be a hardσκληρὸςsklērosG4642manἄνθρωποςanthrōposG444,reapingθερίζωνtherizōnG2325whereὅπουhopouG3699you did not sowἔσπειραςespeirasG4687,and gatheringσυνάγωνsunagōnG4863whereὅθενhothenG3606you did not scatterδιεσκόρπισας·dieskorpisasG1287seed.

25And I wasG5399afraidφοβηθεὶςphobētheisG5399,so I wentG565awayἀπελθὼνapelthōnG565and hidἔκρυψαekrupsaG2928your talentτάλαντόνtalantonG5007in the groundγῇ·gēaG1093.SeeἴδεideG2396, you stillhaveἔχειςecheisG2192whatG3588is yoursG4674.’

26“But his masterκύριοςkuriosG2962answeredἀποκριθεὶςapokritheisG611and saidG3004to him, ‘YouworthlessπονηρὲponēreG4190,lazyὀκνηρέ,oknēreG3636slaveδοῦλεdouleG1401!Did you knowG3609that I reapθερίζωtherizōG2325whereὅπουhopouG3699I did not sowἔσπειραespeiraG4687,and gatherσυνάγωsunagōG4863whereὅθενhothenG3606I did not scatterδιεσκόρπισα;dieskorpisaG1287seed?

27ThenοὖνounG3767you oughtἔδειedeiG1163to haveputβαλεῖνbaleinG906my moneyἀργύριάarguriaG694in the bankτραπεζίταις,trapezitaisG5133, andon my arrivalἐλθὼνelthōnG2064I would have receivedG2865my moneybackG2865with interestτόκῳ.tokōG5110.

28ThereforeοὖνounG3767:takeἄρατεarateG142the talentτάλαντονtalantonG5007awayG142from him, and giveδότεdoteG1325it to the one who hasἔχοντιechontiG2192the tenδέκαdekaG1176talentsτάλαντα.talantaG5007.’

29“For to everyoneπαντὶpantiG3956who hasἔχοντιechontiG2192, moreshall be givenδοθήσεταιdothēsetaiG1325,and he will haveG4052anG4052abundanceπερισσευθήσεται·perisseuthēsetaiG4052;but from the one who does not haveἔχοντος,echontosG2192,evenG2532whatὃhoG3739he does haveἔχειecheiG2192shall be takenG142awayἀρθήσεταιarthēsetaiG142.

30And throwἐκβάλετεekbaleteG1544the worthlessἀχρεῖονachreionG888slaveδοῦλονdoulonG1401intothe outerἐξώτερον·exōteronG1857darknessσκότοςskotosG4655;inG1563thatG1563placeG1563there will be weepingκλαυθμὸςklauthmosG2805and gnashingβρυγμὸςbrugmosG1030of teethὀδόντων.¶odontōnG3599.

31“But whenὍτανHotanG3752the SonυἱὸςhuiosG5207of ManἀνθρώπουanthrōpouG444comesἔλθῃelthēG2064in His gloryδόξῃdoxēG1391,and allπάντεςpantesG3956the angelsἄγγελοιangeloiG32with Him, thenτότεtoteG5119He will sitκαθίσειkathiseiG2523on His gloriousδόξηςdoxēsG1391throneθρόνουthronouG2362.

32And allπάνταpantaG3956the nationsἔθνη,ethnēG1484will begatheredσυναχθήσονταιsunachthēsontaiG4863beforeἔμπροσθενemprosthenG1715Him; and He will separateἀφορίσειaphoriseiG873them from oneG240anotherG240,justὥσπερhōsperG5618as the shepherdποιμὴνpoimēnG4166separatesἀφορίζειaphorizeiG873the sheepπρόβαταprobataG4263from the goatsἐρίφων,eriphōnG2056;

33and He will putστήσειstēseiG2476the sheepπρόβαταprobataG4263on His rightδεξιῶνdexiōnG1188,but the goatsἐρίφιαeriphiaG2055on the leftεὐωνύμων.¶euōnumōnG2176.

34“ThenΤότεToteG5119the KingβασιλεὺςbasileusG935will sayG3004to thoseG3588on His rightδεξιῶνdexiōnG1188, ‘ComeδεῦτεdeuteG1205,you who are blessedεὐλογημένοιeulogēmenoiG2127of My FatherπατρόςpatrosG3962,inheritκληρονομήσατεklēronomēsateG2816the kingdomβασιλείανbasileianG932preparedἡτοιμασμένηνhētoimasmenēnG2090for youfrom the foundationκαταβολῆςkatabolēsG2602of the worldκόσμου.kosmouG2889.

35ForI was hungryἐπείνασαepeinasaG3983,and you gaveἐδώκατέedōkateG1325Me somethingto eatG2068;I was thirstyἐδίψησαedipsēsaG1372,and you gaveG4222Me somethingtoG4222drinkἐποτίσατέepotisateG4222;I was a strangerξένοςxenosG3581,and you invitedσυνηγάγετέsunēgageteG4863Me in;

36nakedγυμνὸςgumnosG1131,and you clothedπεριεβάλετέperiebaleteG4016Me; I was sickἠσθένησαēsthenēsaG770, and youvisitedἐπεσκέψασθέepeskepsastheG1980Me;I was in prisonφυλακῇphulakēaG5438,and you cameἤλθατεēlthateG2064to Me.’

37ThenΤότεToteG5119the righteousδίκαιοιdikaioiG1342will answerἀποκριθήσονταιapokrithēsontaiG611Him, ‘Lordκύριε,kurieG2962,whenπότεpoteG4219did we seeG3708You hungryπεινῶνταpeinōntaG3983,and feedἐθρέψαμενethrepsamenG5142You, orἢēG2228thirstyδιψῶνταdipsōntaG1372,and giveG4222You somethingtoG4222drinkἐποτίσαμεν;epotisamenG4222?

38And whenπότεpoteG4219did we seeG3708You asa strangerξένονxenonG3581,and inviteσυνηγάγομενsunēgagomenG4863You in, orἢēG2228nakedγυμνὸνgumnonG1131,and clotheπεριεβάλομεν;periebalomenG4016You?

39And whenπότεpoteG4219did we seeG3708You sickἀσθενοῦνταasthenountaG770,orἢēG2228in prisonφυλακῇphulakēaG5438,and comeἤλθομενēlthomenG2064to You?’

40Andthe KingβασιλεὺςbasileusG935will answerἀποκριθεὶςapokritheisG611and sayλέγωlegōG3004to them, ‘TrulyἀμὴνamēnG281I sayG3004to you,to the extentἐφ᾽ ὅσονeph᾽ hosonG1909 G3745that you didἐποιήσατεepoiēsateG4160itfor oneἑνὶheniG1520of the leastἐλαχίστων,elachistōnG1646of theseτούτωνtoutōnG3778brothersἀδελφῶνadelphōnG80or sistersof MineἐμοὶemoiG1473,you didἐποιήσατε.¶epoiēsateG4160it for Me.’
