17But He answeredἀπεκρίνατοapekrinatoG611them,“My FatherπατήρpatērG3962is workingἐργάζεται,ergazetaiG2038untilἕωςhe'ōsG2193nowἄρτιartiG737,and I MyselfκἀγὼkagōkaiG1473am workingἐργάζομαι.ergazomaiG2038.”

18For thisτοῦτοtoutoG3778reasonδιὰdiaG1223thereforeοὖνounG3767the JewsἸουδαῖοιIoudaioiG2453were seekingἐζήτουνezētounG2212all the moreμᾶλλονmallonG3123to killἀποκτεῖναι,apokteinaiG615Him, becauseὅτιhotiG3754He not onlyG3440was breakingἔλυενeluenG3089the Sabbathσάββατον,sabbatonG4521,but alsoκαὶkaiG2532was callingἔλεγενelegenG3004GodθεὸνtheonG2316His ownἴδιονidionG2398FatherπατέραpateraG3962,makingποιῶνpoiōnG4160Himselfἑαυτὸνhe'autonG1438equalἴσονisonG2470with Godθεῷ.theōG2316.

21For justὥσπερhōsperG5618as the FatherπατὴρpatērG3962raisesἐγείρειegeireiG1453the deadνεκροὺςnekrousG3498andgivesG2227them lifeζῳοποιεῖ,zōopoieiG2227,soοὕτωςhoutōsG3779the SonυἱὸςhuiosG5207alsoG2532givesG2227lifeζῳοποιεῖ.zōopoieiG2227toG2227whomοὓςhousG3739He wishesθέλειtheleiG2309.

22For not evenοὐδὲoudeG3761the FatherπατὴρpatērG3962judgesκρίνειkrineiG2919anyoneοὐδένα,oudenaG3762, butHe has givenδέδωκενdedōkenG1325allπᾶσανpasanG3956judgmentκρίσινkrisinG2920to the Sonυἱῷ,huiōG5207,

23soἵναinaG2443thatG2443allπάντεςpantesG3956will honorτιμῶσινtimōsinG5091the SonυἱὸνhuionG5207justG2531asG2531they honorτιμῶσινtimōsinG5091the Fatherπατέρα.pateraG3962.The one who does not honorτιμῶνtimōnG5091the SonυἱὸνhuionG5207does not honorτιμᾷtimaG5091the FatherπατέραpateraG3962who sentπέμψανταpempsantaG3992Him.

28Do not beG2296amazedG2296at thisτοῦτο,toutoG3778; fora timeὥραhōraG5610is comingἔρχεταιerchetaiG2064whenᾗhēG1722 G3739allπάντεςpantesG3956whoG3588are in the tombsμνημείοιςmnēmeioisG3419will hearἀκούσουσινakousousinG191His voiceφωνῆςphōnēsG5456,

36But the testimonyμαρτυρίανmarturianG3141I haveἔχωechōG2192is greaterμείζωmeizōG3173than the testimony ofJohnἸωάννου·IōannouG2491; forthe worksἔργαergaG2041whichG3739the FatherπατὴρpatērG3962has givenδέδωκένdedōkenG1325Meto accomplishτελειώσωteleiōsōG5048--the veryG846worksἔργαergaG2041that I doποιῶ,poiōG4160--testifyμαρτυρεῖmartureiG3140aboutπερὶperiG4012Me, that the FatherπατήρpatērG3962has sentἀπέσταλκεν.apestalkenG649Me.

41I do not receiveλαμβάνω·lambanōG2983gloryδόξανdoxanG1391from peopleἀνθρώπωνanthrōpōnG444;

42but I knowἔγνωκαegnōkaG1097you, that you do not haveἔχετεecheteG2192the loveἀγάπηνagapēnG26of GodθεοῦtheouG2316in yourselvesἑαυτοῖς.¶he'autoisG1438.

43I have comeἐλήλυθαelēluthaG2064in My Father’sπατρόςpatrosG3962nameὀνόματιonomatiG3686, and you do notreceiveλαμβάνετέlambaneteG2983Me;ifἐὰνeanG1437anotherἄλλοςallosG243comesἔλθῃelthēG2064in his ownἰδίῳ,idiōG2398nameὀνόματιonomatiG3686, you willreceiveλήμψεσθε.¶lēmpsestheG2983him.

45Do not thinkδοκεῖτεdokeiteG1380that I will accuseκατηγορήσωkatēgorēsōG2723you beforeπρὸςprosG4314the Fatherπατέρα·pateraG3962;the one who accusesκατηγορῶνkatēgorōnG2723you isMosesΜωϋσῆςMōusēsG3475,in whomὃνhonG3739you have putG1679your hopeG1679.
