Luke 5:7-26
7soG5620 they signaledG2656 to their partnersG3353 in the otherG2087 boatG4143 for them to comeG2064 and helpG4815 them. And they cameG2064 and filledG4092 bothG297 of the boatsG4143, soG5620 that they began to sinkG1036. 8But when SimonG4613 PeterG4074 sawG3708 that, he fellG4363 downG4363 at Jesus’G2424 1feetG1119, sayingG3004, “GoG1831 awayG1831 from me LordG2962, for I amG1510 a sinfulG268 manG435!” 9For amazementG2285 had seizedG4023 him and allG3956 his companionsG3588G4862 becauseG1909 of the catchG61 of fishG2486 whichG3739 they had takenG4815; 10and soG3668 alsoG2532 were 2JamesG2385 and JohnG2491, sonsG5207 of ZebedeeG2199, whoG3739 were partnersG2844 with SimonG4613. And JesusG2424 saidG3004 to SimonG4613, “3Do not fearG5399, from nowG3568 on you will be 4catchingG2221 menG444.” 11When they had broughtG2609 their boatsG4143 to landG1093, 5they leftG863 everythingG3956 and followedG190 Him.
126WhileG1722 He was in oneG1520 of the citiesG4172, beholdG2400, there was a manG435 7coveredG4134 with leprosyG3014; and when he sawG3708 JesusG2424, he fellG4098 on his faceG4383 and imploredG1189 Him, sayingG3004, “LordG2962, ifG1437 You are willingG2309, You canG1410 makeG2511 me cleanG2511.” 13And He stretchedG1614 out His handG5495 and touchedG681 him, sayingG3004, “I amG2309 willingG2309; be cleansedG2511.” And immediatelyG2112 the leprosyG3014 leftG565 him. 14And He orderedG3853 him to tellG3004 noG3367 oneG3367, “But goG565 and 8showG1166 yourselfG4572 to the priestG2409 and makeG4374 an offeringG4374 for your cleansingG2512, justG2531 as MosesG3475 commandedG4367, as a testimonyG3142 to them.” 15But 9the newsG3056 aboutG4012 Him was spreadingG1330 evenG3123 fartherG3123, and largeG4183 crowdsG3793 were gatheringG4905 to hearG191 Him and to be healedG2323 of their sicknessesG769. 16But Jesus HimselfG846 would often slipG5298 awayG5298 10to the 11wildernessG2048 and 12prayG4336.
1713OneG1520 dayG2250 He was teachingG1321; and 14there were some PhariseesG5330 and 15teachersG3547 of the lawG3547 sittingG2521 there, whoG3739 had 16comeG2064 from everyG3956 villageG2968 of GalileeG1056 and JudeaG2453 and from JerusalemG2419; and 17the powerG1411 of the LordG2962 was present for Him to performG2390 healingG2390. 1818And some menG435 were carryingG5342 on a 19bedG2825 a manG444 whoG3739 was paralyzedG3886; and they were tryingG2212 to bringG1533 him in and to setG5087 him downG5087 in frontG1799 of Him. 19But not findingG2147 anyG4169 way to bringG1533 him in becauseG1223 of the crowdG3793, they wentG305 up on 20the roofG1430 and letG2524 him downG2524 21throughG1223 the tilesG2766 with his stretcherG2826, into the middleG3319 of the crowd, in frontG1715 of JesusG2424. 20SeeingG3708 their faithG4102, He saidG3004, “22FriendG444, 23your sinsG266 are forgivenG863 you.” 21The scribesG1122 and the PhariseesG5330 24beganG757 to reasonG1260, sayingG3004, “25WhoG5101 is thisG3778 man whoG3739 speaksG2980 blasphemiesG988? 26WhoG5101 canG1410 forgiveG863 sinsG266, but GodG2316 aloneG3441?” 22But JesusG2424, 27awareG1921 of their reasoningsG1261, answeredG611 and saidG3004 to them, “WhyG5101 are you reasoningG1260 in your heartsG2588? 23WhichG5101 is easierG2123, to sayG3004, ‘Your sinsG266 have been forgivenG863 you,’ orG2228 to sayG3004, ‘GetG1453 up and walkG4043’? 24But, soG2443 that you may knowG3609 that the SonG5207 of ManG444 hasG2192 authorityG1849 on earthG1093 to forgiveG863 sinsG266,”--He saidG3004 to the 28paralyticG3886--“I sayG3004 to you, getG1453 up, and pickG142 up your stretcherG2826 and goG4198 homeG3624.” 25Immediately he gotG450 up beforeG1799 them, and pickedG142 up whatG3739 he had been lyingG2621 on, and wentG565 homeG3624 29glorifyingG1392 GodG2316. 2630They were allG537 struckG2983 with astonishmentG1611 and began 31glorifyingG1392 GodG2316; and they were filledG4092 32with fearG5401, sayingG3004, “We have seenG3708 remarkableG3861 thingsG3861 todayG4594.”
