26IfἘὰνEanG1437anyoneτιςtisG5100servesδιακονῇ,diakonēaG1247Me, he must followἀκολουθείτω·akoloutheitōG190Me; andwhereὅπουhopouG3699I amG1510,thereἐκεῖekeiG1563My servantδιάκονοςdiakonosG1249will be alsoG2532;ifἐάνeanG1437anyoneτιςtisG5100servesδιακονῇ,diakonēaG1247Me, the Fatherπατήρ.¶patērG3962willhonorτιμήσειtimēseiG5091him.

27“NowΝῦνNunG3568My soulψυχήpsuchēG5590has become troubledτετάρακται,tetaraktaiG5015;and whatτίtiG5101shall I sayG3004, ‘Fatherπάτερ,paterG3962,saveσῶσόνsōsonG4982Me fromthisταύτης;tautēsG3778hourὥραςhōrasG5610’?But for thisτοῦτοtoutoG3778purpose I cameἦλθονēlthonG2064to thisταύτην.tautēnG3778hourὥρανhōranG5610.

29SoοὖνounG3767the crowdὄχλοςochlosG3793of peoplewho stoodἑστὼςhestōsG2476by and heardἀκούσαςakousasG191it were sayingἔλεγενelegenG3004that it had thunderedβροντὴν γεγονέναι.brontēn gegonenaiG1027 G1096;othersἄλλοιalloiG243were sayingἔλεγον·elegonG3004, “An angelἄγγελοςangelosG32has spokenλελάληκεν.¶lelalēkenG2980to Him.”

30JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424answeredἈπεκρίθηApekrithēG611and saidG3004, “ThisαὕτηhautēG3778voiceφωνὴphōnēG5456has not comeγέγονενgegonenG1096for My sakeδι᾽di᾽G1223,but for your sakesδι᾽di᾽G1223.

31NowνῦνnunG3568judgmentκρίσιςkrisisG2920is upon thisτούτου·toutouG3778worldκόσμουkosmouG2889;nowνῦνnunG3568the rulerἄρχωνarchōnG758of thisτούτουtoutouG3778worldκόσμουkosmouG2889will be castἐκβληθήσεταιekblēthēsetaiG1544out.

32And I, ifἐὰνeanG1437Iam liftedὑψωθῶhupsōthōG5312up from the earthγῆς,gēsG1093, willdrawἑλκύσωhelkusōG1670allG3956menG3956to MyselfG1683.”

33But He was sayingἔλεγενelegenG3004thisτοῦτοtoutoG3778to indicateσημαίνωνsēmainōnG4591the kindG4169of deathθανάτῳthanatōG2288by whichG4169He was to dieἀποθνῄσκειν.¶apothnēskeinG599.

35SoοὖνounG3767JesusἸησοῦς·IēsousG2424saidG3004to them, “For a littleμικρὸνmikronG3398whileχρόνονchrononG5550longerἔτιetiG2089the LightφῶςphōsG5457is amongG1722you.WalkπεριπατεῖτεperipateiteG4043whileὡςhōsG5613you haveἔχετε,echeteG2192the LightφῶςphōsG5457,soἵναinaG2443that darknessσκοτίαskotiaG4653will not overtakeκαταλάβῃ·katalabēG2638you; he whowalksπεριπατῶνperipatōnG4043in the darknessσκοτίᾳskotiaG4653does not knowG3609whereποῦpouG4226he goesὑπάγει.hupageiG5217.

36WhileὡςhōsG5613you haveἔχετε,echeteG2192the LightφῶςphōsG5457,believeπιστεύετεpisteueteG4100in the Lightφῶς,phōsG5457,soἵναinaG2443that you may becomeγένησθε.genēstheG1096sonsυἱοὶhuioiG5207of LightφωτὸςphōtosG5457.”TheseG3778thingsταῦταtautaG3778JesusἸησοῦς,IēsousG2424spokeἐλάλησενelalēsenG2980,and He wentG565awayἀπελθὼνapelthōnG565andhidἐκρύβηekrubēG2928Himself from them.

37But though He had performedπεποιηκότοςpepoiēkotosG4160soΤοσαῦταTosautaG5118manyG5118signsσημεῖαsēmeiaG4592beforeἔμπροσθενemprosthenG1715them, yetthey were not believingἐπίστευονepisteuonG4100in Him.

38This wasto fulfillπληρωθῇplērōthēaG4137the wordλόγοςlogosG3056of IsaiahἨσαΐουĒsaiouG2268the prophetπροφήτουprophētouG4396whichὃνhonG3739he spokeG3004: “Lordκύριε,kurieG2962,whoτίςtisG5101has believedἐπίστευσενepisteusenG4100our reportἀκοῇakoēaG189?And to whomτίνιtiniG5101has the armβραχίωνbrachiōnG1023of the LordκυρίουkuriouG2962been revealedἀπεκαλύφθη;apekaluphthēG601?”

39For thisτοῦτοtoutoG3778reasonδιὰdiaG1223they couldἠδύναντοēdunantoG1410not believeπιστεύειν,pisteueinG4100,for IsaiahἨσαΐας·ĒsaiasG2268saidG3004againπάλινpalinG3825,

40“He has blindedτετύφλωκενtetuphlōkenG5186their eyesὀφθαλμοὺςophthalmousG3788and HehardenedἐπώρωσενepōrōsenG4456their heartκαρδίαν,kardianG2588,soἵνα μὴina mēG2443 G3361that they would not seeG3708with their eyesὀφθαλμοῖςophthalmoisG3788and perceiveνοήσωσινnoēsōsinG3539with their heartκαρδίᾳkardiaG2588, andbe convertedστραφῶσινstraphōsinG4762and I healἰάσομαιiasomaiG2390them.”

42Neverthelessὅμως μέντοιhomōs mentoiG3676 G3305manyπολλοὶpolloiG4183evenκαὶkaiG2532ofthe rulersἀρχόντωνarchontōnG758believedἐπίστευσανepisteusanG4100in Him, butbecauseδιὰdiaG1223of the PhariseesΦαρισαίουςPharisaiousG5330they were not confessingὡμολόγουν,hōmologounG3670Him,for fearἵνα μὴina mēG2443 G3361that they would beputG656out of the synagogueἀποσυνάγωγοιaposunagōgoiG656;

43for they lovedἠγάπησανēgapēsanG25theapprovalδόξανdoxanG1391of menἀνθρώπωνanthrōpōnG444ratherμᾶλλονmallonG3123thanG2228theapprovalδόξανdoxanG1391of Godθεοῦ.¶theouG2316.

44And JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424criedἔκραξενekraxenG2896out and saidG3004, “He who believesπιστεύωνpisteuōnG4100in Me, does not believeπιστεύειpisteueiG4100in Me but in Him who sentπέμψαντάpempsantaG3992Me.

45He who seesθεωρῶνtheōrōnG2334Me seesθεωρεῖtheōreiG2334the One who sentπέμψαντάpempsantaG3992Me.

46I have comeἐλήλυθα,elēluthaG2064asLightφῶςphōsG5457into the worldκόσμονkosmonG2889,soἵναinaG2443that everyoneπᾶςpasG3956who believesπιστεύωνpisteuōnG4100in Me will not remainμείνῃ.meinēG3306in darknessσκοτίᾳskotiaG4653.

47IfἐάνeanG1437anyoneτίςtisG5100hearsἀκούσῃakousēG191My sayingsῥημάτωνrhēmatōnG4487and does not keepφυλάξῃ,phulaxēG5442them, I do not judgeκρίνωkrinōG2919him; forI did not comeἦλθονēlthonG2064to judgeκρίνωkrinōG2919the worldκόσμονkosmonG2889,but to saveσώσωsōsōG4982the worldκόσμον.kosmonG2889.
