Matthew 16:22-28
22And PeterG4074 taking him to [him] beganG757 to rebukeG2008 him, sayingG3004, [God] beG1510 favourable to thee, LordG2962; this shall in no wise beG1510 unto thee. 23But turningG4762 round, he saidG3004 to PeterG4074, Get awayG5217 behind me, SatanG4567; thou art an offence to me, for thy mindG5426 isG1510 not on the things that areG1510 of 1GodG2316, but on the things that areG1510 of menG444. 24Then JesusG2424 saidG3004 to his disciplesG3101, If any oneG5100 desiresG2309 to comeG2064 after me, let him denyG533 himself and takeG142 up his crossG4716 and followG190 me. 25For whosoever shall desireG2309 to saveG4982 his lifeG5590 shall loseG622 it; but whosoever shall loseG622 his lifeG5590 for my sakeG1752 shall findG2147 it. 26For what does a manG444 profitG5623, if he should gainG2770 the wholeG3650 worldG2889 and sufferG2210 the lossG2210 of his soulG5590? or what shall a manG444 giveG1325 in exchangeG465 for his soulG5590? 27For the SonG5207 of manG444 is about to comeG2064 in the gloryG1391 of his FatherG3962 with his angelsG32, and then he will renderG591 to each accordingG2596 to his doings. 28Verily I sayG3004 unto you, There areG1510 some of those standingG2476 hereG5602 that shall not tasteG1089 of deathG2288 at all until they shall have seenG3708 the SonG5207 of manG444 comingG2064 in his kingdomG932.
