Matthew 16:22-28
22And yet PeterG4074 tookG4355 Him asideG4355 and beganG757 to rebukeG2008 Him, sayingG3004, “1GodG2436 forbidG2436 it, LordG2962! ThisG3778 shall neverG3756G3361 2happenG1510 to You!” 23But He turnedG4762 and saidG3004 to PeterG4074, “GetG5217 behindG3694 Me, 3SatanG4567! You are a stumblingG4625 blockG4625 to Me; for you are not settingG5426 your mindG5426 onG5426 4God’sG2316 purposes, but men’sG444.”
24ThenG5119 JesusG2424 saidG3004 to His disciplesG3101, “IfG1487 anyoneG5100 wantsG2309 to comeG2064 afterG3694 Me, he must denyG533 himselfG1438, 5takeG142 upG142 his crossG4716, and followG190 Me. 25For 6whoeverG3739G1437 wantsG2309 to saveG4982 his 7lifeG5590 will loseG622 it; but whoeverG3739G302 losesG622 his 8lifeG5590 for My sakeG1752 will findG2147 it. 26For whatG5101 goodG5623 will it doG5623 a personG444 ifG1437 he gainsG2770 the wholeG3650 worldG2889, but 9forfeitsG2210 his soulG5590? OrG2228 whatG5101 will a personG444 giveG1325 in exchangeG465 for his soulG5590? 27For the 10SonG5207 of ManG444 11isG3195 goingG3195 toG3195 comeG2064 in the gloryG1391 of His FatherG3962 with His angelsG32, and 12will thenG5119 repayG591 everyG1538 personG1538 accordingG2596 to his 13deedsG4234.
28“TrulyG281 I sayG3004 to you, there are someG5100 of thoseG3588 who are standingG2476 hereG5602 whoG3748 will not tasteG1089 deathG2288 untilG2193 they seeG3708 the 14SonG5207 of ManG444 15comingG2064 in His kingdomG932.”
