Mark 5:22-42
And [behold] there comesG2064 oneG1520 of the rulers of the synagogueG752, by nameG3686 JairusG2383, and seeingG3708 him, fallsG4098 downG4098 at his feetG4228;
and he besought him muchG4183, sayingG3004, My littleG2365 daughterG2365 is at extremity; [I pray] that thou shouldest comeG2064 and lay thy handsG5495 upon her soG2443 that she may be healed, and may liveG2198.
And he wentG565 with him, and a large crowdG3793 followedG190 him and pressed on him.
And a certain womanG1135 who had had a flux of bloodG129 twelveG1427 yearsG2094,
and had sufferedG3958 muchG4183 under manyG4183 physiciansG2395, and had spentG1159 everythingG3956 she had and had found no advantage from it, but had ratherG3123 got worse,
having heardG191 concerningG4012 JesusG2424, cameG2064 in the crowdG3793 behind and touchedG681 his clothesG2440;
for she saidG3004, If I shall touchG681 but his clothesG2440 I shall be healed.
And immediately her fountain of bloodG129 was dried up, and she knewG1097 in her bodyG4983 that she was cured from the scourge.
And immediately JesusG2424, knowing in himself the powerG1411 that had goneG1831 out of him, turningG1994 round in the crowdG3793 saidG3004, Who has touchedG681 my clothesG2440?
And his disciplesG3101 saidG3004 to him, Thou seest the crowdG3793 pressing on thee, and sayest thou, Who touchedG681 me?
And he looked round about to seeG3708 her who had done this.
But the womanG1135, frightenedG5399 and trembling, knowing what had taken placeG1096 in her, cameG2064 and fell downG4363 before him, and toldG3004 him all the truthG225.
And he saidG3004 to her, DaughterG2364, thy faithG4102 has healed thee; goG5217 in peaceG1515, and beG1510 well of thy scourge.
While he was yetG2089 speakingG2980, they comeG2064 from the ruler of the synagogue's [house], sayingG3004, Thy daughterG2364 has diedG599, whyG5101 troublest thou the teacherG1320 any further?
But JesusG2424 [immediately], having heard the wordG3056 spokenG2980, saysG3004 to the ruler of the synagogueG752, FearG5399 not; onlyG3440 believeG4100.
And he suffered no oneG3762 to accompany him save PeterG4074 and JamesG2385, and JohnG2491 the brotherG80 of JamesG2385.
And he comesG2064 to the houseG3624 of the ruler of the synagogueG752, and seesG2334 the tumult, and people weepingG2799 and wailing greatly.
And enteringG1525 in he saysG3004 to them, WhyG5101 do ye make a tumult and weepG2799? the childG3813 has not diedG599, but sleeps.
And they derided him. But he, having putG1544 [them] all out, takesG3880 with [him] the fatherG3962 of the childG3813, and the motherG3384, and those that wereG1510 with him, and entersG1531 in whereG3699 the childG3813 wasG1510 lying.
And having laidG2902 holdG2902 of the handG5495 of the childG3813, he saysG3004 to her, Talitha koumi, which isG1510, interpreted, Damsel, I sayG3004 to thee, AriseG1453.
And immediately the damsel aroseG450 and walkedG4043, for she wasG1510 twelveG1427 yearsG2094 old. And they wereG1510 astonished with greatG3173 astonishment.
