Luke 2:34-52
34And SimeonG4826 blessedG2127 them, and saidG3004 to MaryG3137 his motherG3384, Lo, this [child] is setG2749 for the fall and rising up of manyG4183 in IsraelG2474, and for a signG4592 spoken against; 35(and evenG2532 a swordG4501 shall goG1330 through thine own soulG5590;) so that [the] thoughtsG1261 may be revealedG601 from manyG4183 heartsG2588. 36And there wasG1510 a prophetessG4398, Anna, daughterG2364 of Phanuel, of [the] tribeG5443 of AsherG768, who wasG1510 far advanced in yearsG2094, having lived with [her] husbandG435 sevenG2033 yearsG2094 from her virginity, 37and herself a widowG5503 up to eighty-four yearsG2094; who did not departG868 from the temple, servingG3000 nightG3571 and dayG2250 with fastings and prayersG1162; 38and she coming up the sameG846 hourG5610 gave praise to the Lord, and spokeG2980 of him to all those who waited for redemptionG3085 in JerusalemG2419. 39And whenG5613 they had completed all thingsG3956 accordingG2596 to the lawG3551 of [the] LordG2962, they returnedG1994 to GalileeG1056 to their ownG1438 cityG4172 NazarethG3478. 40And the childG3813 grewG837 and waxed strong [in spirit], filledG4137 with wisdomG4678, and 1God's graceG5485 wasG1510 upon him. 41And his parentsG1118 wentG4198 yearly to JerusalemG2419 at the feastG1859 of the passoverG3957. 42And whenG3753 he was twelveG1427 yearsG2094 old, and they wentG305 up [to Jerusalem] accordingG2596 to the customG1485 of the feastG1859 43and had completed the daysG2250, as they returnedG5290, the boyG3816 JesusG2424 remainedG5278 behind in JerusalemG2419, and his parentsG1118 knewG1097 not [of it]; 44but, supposing him to beG1510 in the company that journeyed together, they went a day's journeyG3598, and sought him among their relations and acquaintances: 45and not having foundG2147 him they returnedG5290 to JerusalemG2419 seeking him. 46And it cameG1096 to passG1096, after threeG5140 daysG2250 they foundG2147 him in the temple, sitting in the midstG3319 of the teachersG1320 and hearingG191 them and askingG1905 them questionsG1905. 47And all who heardG191 him were astonished at his understandingG4907 and answersG612. 48And when they sawG3708 him they were amazed: and his motherG3384 saidG3004 to him, ChildG5043, whyG5101 hast thou dealt thusG3779 with us? beholdG2400, thy fatherG3962 and I have soughtG2212 thee distressed. 49And he saidG3004 to them, WhyG5101 [isG1510 it] that ye have soughtG2212 me? did ye not know that I oughtG1163 to beG1510 [occupied] in my Father's business? 50And they understoodG4920 not the thing that he saidG2980 to them. 51And he went downG2597 with them and cameG2064 to NazarethG3478, and he wasG1510 in subjectionG5293 to them. And his motherG3384 kept all these thingsG3956 in her heartG2588. 52And JesusG2424 advanced in wisdomG4678 and statureG2244, and in favour with 2GodG2316 and menG444.
