Darby Bible
Acts 9:19-30
and, having receivedG2983 foodG5160, got strength. And he was with the disciplesG3101 who [were] in DamascusG1154 certainG5100 daysG2250.
And straightway in the synagoguesG4864 he preachedG2784 JesusG2424 that he isG1510 the SonG5207 of 1GodG2316.
And all who heardG191 wereG1510 astonished and saidG3004, IsG1510 not this he who destroyedG4199 in JerusalemG2419 those who called on this nameG3686, and hereG5602 wasG1510 comeG2064 for this purpose, that he might bringG71 them boundG1210 to the chiefG749 priestsG749?
But SaulG4569 increased the moreG3123 in power, and confounded the JewsG2453 who dwelt in DamascusG1154, proving that this isG1510 the ChristG5547.
NowG1161 whenG5613 manyG2425 daysG2250 were fulfilled, the JewsG2453 consulted togetherG4823 to kill him.
But their plotG1917 became knownG1097 to SaulG4569. And they watchedG3906 alsoG2532 the gatesG4439 both dayG2250 and nightG3571, that they might kill him;
but the disciplesG3101 tookG2983 him by nightG3571 and let him downG5465 through the wallG5038, lowering him in a basketG4711.
And having arrived at JerusalemG2419 he essayed to joinG2853 himself to the disciplesG3101, and all wereG1510 afraidG5399 of him, not believingG4100 that he wasG1510 a discipleG3101.
But BarnabasG921 took him and broughtG71 him to the apostlesG652, and related to them howG4459 he had seenG3708 the LordG2962 in the wayG3598, and that he had spokenG2980 to him, and howG4459 in DamascusG1154 he had spokenG2980 boldlyG3955 in the nameG3686 of JesusG2424.
And he wasG1510 with them comingG1607 in and goingG1607 out at JerusalemG2419,
and speakingG2980 boldly in the name of the Lord. And he spokeG2980 and discussed with the Hellenists; but they sought to kill him.
And the brethren knowing it, broughtG2609 him downG2609 to CaesareaG2542 and sent him awayG1821 to TarsusG5019.
