Acts 27:33-44
33And while it was drawing on to daylight, PaulG3972 exhortedG3870 them all to partake of foodG5160, sayingG3004, Ye have passed the fourteenth dayG2250 watching in expectation without taking foodG5160. 34Wherefore I exhortG3870 you to partake of foodG5160, for this has to do with your safety; for not a hairG2359 from the headG2776 of any oneG3762 of you shall perishG622. 35And, having saidG3004 these thingsG3778 and takenG2983 a loafG740, he gaveG2168 thanksG2168 to 1GodG2316 before all, and having brokenG2806 it beganG757 to eatG2068. 36And all taking courage, themselves alsoG2532 took foodG5160. 37And we wereG1510 in the shipG4143, all the soulsG5590, twoG1250 hundredG1250 and seventy-six. 38And having satisfied themselves with foodG5160, they lightened the shipG4143, casting out the wheatG4621 into the seaG2281. 39And whenG3753 it was dayG2250 they did not recognise the landG1093; but they perceived a certainG5100 bay having a strand, on which they were minded, if they should be ableG1410, to run the shipG4143 ashore; 40and, having cast off the anchorsG45, they left [them] in the seaG2281, at the sameG260 timeG260 loosening the lashings of the rudders, and hoisting the foresail to the wind, they made for the strand. 41And falling into a placeG5117 where two seas met they ran the ship aground, and the prow having stuck itself fast remainedG3306 unmoved, but the sternG4403 was brokenG3089 by the force of the waves. 42And [the] counselG1012 of the soldiersG4757 was that they should killG615 the prisonersG1202, lestG3361 any oneG5100 should swim off and escape. 43But the centurionG1543, desirous of saving PaulG3972, hinderedG2967 them of their purpose, and commandedG2753 those who were ableG1410 to swim, casting themselves firstG4413 [into the sea], to get out on landG1093; 44and the restG3062, some on boards, some on some of the thingsG3956 [that cameG1096] from the shipG4143; and thusG3779 it cameG1096 to passG1096 that all got safe to landG1093.
