Ezekiel 13:2-17
SonH1121 of manH120, prophesyH5012 against the prophetsH5030 of IsraelH3478 that prophesyH5012, and sayH559 unto them that prophesyH5012 out of their own heartH3820, HearH8085 ye the wordH1697 of Jehovah.
ThusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: WoeH1945 unto the foolishH5036 prophetsH5030, that follow their own spiritH7307, and have seenH7200 nothing!
O IsraelH3478, thy prophetsH5030 have beenH1961 like foxesH7776 in desert placesH2723.
Ye have not goneH5927 up into the breachesH6556, nor made up the fence for the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, to standH5975 in the battleH4421 in the dayH3117 of Jehovah.
They have seenH2372 vanityH7723 and lyingH3577 divinationH7081, that sayH559, Jehovah saith! and Jehovah hath not sentH7971 them; and they make [them] to hopeH3176 that the wordH1697 will be fulfilled.
Have ye not seenH2372 a vain visionH4236, and spokenH1696 a lyingH3577 divinationH4738, when ye sayH559, Jehovah saith; and I have not spokenH1696?
ThereforeH3651 thusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: Because ye speakH1696 vanityH7723, and have seenH2372 liesH3577, thereforeH3651 behold, I am against you, saith the LordH136 Jehovah.
And my handH3027 shall beH1961 against the prophetsH5030 that see vanityH7723 and that divineH7080 liesH3577: they shall not beH1961 in the councilH5475 of my peopleH5971, neither shall they beH1961 writtenH3789 in the register of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, and they shall not enter into the landH127 of IsraelH3478: and ye shall knowH3045 that I [am] the LordH136 Jehovah.
Because, yea because they have seduced my peopleH5971, sayingH559, PeaceH7965! and there is no peaceH7965; and one buildeth up a wall, and lo, they daub it with untempered [mortar] —
sayH559 unto them which daub it with untempered [mortar] that it shall fallH5307: there shall beH1961 an overflowingH7857 rainH1653, and ye, O great hailstones, shall fallH5307, and a stormy windH7307 shall burst forthH1234.
And lo, whenH834 the wallH7023 is fallenH5307, shall it not be saidH559 unto you, WhereH834 is the daubing with which ye have daubed [it]?
ThereforeH3651 thusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: I will cause to burst forthH1234 a stormy windH7307 in my fury; and there shall beH1961 an overflowingH7857 rainH1653 in mine angerH639, and hail-stones in fury for utter destructionH3617.
And I will breakH2040 down the wallH7023 that ye have daubed with untempered [mortar], and bring it downH5307 to the groundH776, so that the foundationH3247 thereof shall be discovered; and it shall fallH5307, and ye shall be destroyedH3615 in the midstH8432 thereof; and ye shall knowH3045 that I [am] Jehovah.
And I will accomplish my fury upon the wallH7023, and upon them that daub it with untempered [mortar], and will sayH559 unto you, The wallH7023 is no [more], neither they that daubed it,
the prophetsH5030 of IsraelH3478 who prophesyH5012 concerningH413 JerusalemH3389, and who see a visionH2377 of peaceH7965 for her, and there is no peaceH7965, saith the LordH136 Jehovah.
And thou, sonH1121 of manH120, setH7760 thy faceH6440 against the daughtersH1323 of thy peopleH5971, who prophesyH5012 out of their own heartH3820; and prophesyH5012 against them,
