Acts 16:1-12

And he cameG2658 to DerbeG1191 and LystraG3082: and beholdG2400, a certainG5100 discipleG3101 wasG1510 there, by nameG3686 Timotheus, sonG5207 of a JewishG2453 believing womanG1135, but [the] fatherG3962 a GreekG1672,

who had a [good] testimony of the brethren in LystraG3082 and IconiumG2430.

Him would PaulG3972 have goG1831 forthG1831 with him, and tookG2983 [him and] circumcisedG4059 him on accountG1223 of the JewsG2453 who wereG1510 in those placesG5117, for they all knew his fatherG3962 that he wasG1510 a GreekG1672.

And as they passed through the citiesG4172 they instructed them to observe the decrees determined on by the apostlesG652 and eldersG4245 who were in JerusalemG2414.

The assemblies thereforeG3767 were confirmed in the faithG4102, and increased in numberG706 every dayG2250.

And having passedG1330 through PhrygiaG5435 and the GalatianG1054 countryG5561, having been forbidden by the HolyG40 SpiritG4151 to speakG2980 the wordG3056 in AsiaG773,

having comeG2064 down to MysiaG3465, they attempted to goG4198 to BithyniaG978, and the SpiritG4151 of JesusG2424 did not allowG1439 them;

and having passedG3928 by MysiaG3465 they descendedG2597 to TroasG5174.

And a visionG3705 appeared to PaulG3972 in the nightG3571: There wasG1510 a certainG5100 MacedonianG3110 manG435, standingG2476 and beseechingG3870 him, and sayingG3004, Pass over into MacedoniaG3109 and helpG997 us.

And whenG5613 he had seenG3708 the visionG3705, immediatelyG2112 we soughtG2212 to goG1831 forthG1831 to MacedoniaG3109, concluding that the Lord had calledG4341 us to announce to them the glad tidings.

Having sailed thereforeG3767 awayG575 from TroasG5174, we went in a straight course to Samothracia, and on the morrow to Neapolis,

and thence to PhilippiG5375, which isG1510 [the] firstG4413 cityG4172 of that partG3310 of MacedoniaG3109, a colony. And we wereG1510 stayingG1304 in that cityG4172 certainG5100 daysG2250.
