John 21

1After these thingsG3778 JesusG2424 manifestedG5319 himself againG3825 to the disciplesG3101 at the seaG2281 of TiberiasG5085; and he manifestedG5319himselfon this wise. 2There wereG1510 togetherG3674 SimonG4613 PeterG4074, and ThomasG2381 called DidymusG1324, and NathanaelG3482 of CanaG2580 in GalileeG1056, and the sons of ZebedeeG2199, and twoG1417 otherG243 of his disciplesG3101. 3SimonG4613 PeterG4074 saith unto them, I goG5217 a fishing. They sayG3004 unto him, We alsoG2532 comeG2064 with thee. They wentG1831 forthG1831, and entered into the boatG4143; and that nightG3571 they took nothing. 4But when day wasG1510 nowG1161 breaking, JesusG2424 stoodG2476 on the beach: yet the disciplesG3101 knew not that it wasG1510 JesusG2424. 5JesusG2424 thereforeG3767 saith unto them, ChildrenG3813, have ye aught to eat? They answeredG611 him, No. 6And he saidG3004 unto them, CastG906 the netG1350 on the rightG1188 side of the boatG4143, and ye shall findG2147. They castG906 thereforeG3767, and nowG1161 they were not ableG2480 to drawG1670 it for the multitudeG4128 of fishes. 7That discipleG3101 thereforeG3767 whom JesusG2424 lovedG25 saith unto PeterG4074, It isG1510 the LordG2962. So when SimonG4613 PeterG4074 heardG191 that it wasG1510 the LordG2962, he girt his coat about him (for he wasG1510 nakedG1131), and castG906 himself into the seaG2281. 8But the otherG243 disciplesG3101 cameG2064 in the little boatG4142 (for they wereG1510 not farG3112 from the landG1093, but about twoG1250 hundredG1250 cubitsG4083 off), dragging the netG1350 full of fishes. 9So whenG5613 they got out upon the landG1093, they seeG991 a fireG439 of coals there, and fishG3795 laid thereon, and breadG740. 10JesusG2424 saith unto them, BringG5342 of the fishG3795 which ye have nowG3568 taken. 11SimonG4613 PeterG4074 thereforeG3767 wentG305 up, and drewG1670 the netG1350 to landG1093, fullG3324 of greatG3173 fishes, a hundredG1540 and fiftyG4004 and threeG5140: and for all there wereG1510 so manyG5118, the netG1350 wasG1510 not rent. 12JesusG2424 saith unto them, ComeG1205 and break your fast. And noneG3762 of the disciplesG3101 durst inquire of him, Who art thou? knowing that it wasG1510 the LordG2962. 13JesusG2424 cometh, and taketh the breadG740, and giveth them, and the fishG3795 likewiseG3668. 14This is nowG2235 the thirdG5154 timeG5154 that JesusG2424 was manifestedG5319 to the disciplesG3101, after that he was risenG1453 from the deadG3498.

15So whenG3753 they had broken their fast, JesusG2424 saith to SimonG4613 PeterG4074, SimonG4613, son of JohnG2491G2495, lovest thou me moreG4183 than these? He saith unto him, Yea, LordG2962; thou knowest that I loveG25 thee. He saith unto him, FeedG1006 my lambsG721. 16He saith to him againG3825 a secondG1208 timeG1208, SimonG4613, son of JohnG2491G2495, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, LordG2962; thou knowest that I loveG25 thee. He saith unto him, Tend my sheepG4263. 17He saith unto him the thirdG5154 timeG5154, SimonG4613, son of JohnG2491G2495, lovest thou me? PeterG4074 was grievedG3076 because he saidG3004 unto him the thirdG5154 timeG5154, Lovest thou me? And he saidG3004 unto him, LordG2962, thou knowest all thingsG3956; thou knowest that I loveG5368 thee. JesusG2424 saith unto him, FeedG1006 my sheepG4263. 18Verily, verily, I sayG3004 unto thee, WhenG3752 thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but whenG3752 thou shalt beG1510 old, thou shalt stretchG1614 forth thy handsG5495, and another shall gird thee, and carryG5342 thee whither thou wouldest not. 19NowG1161 this he spake, signifyingG4591 by what manner of deathG2288 he should glorifyG1392 GodG2316. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, FollowG190 me. 20PeterG4074, turningG1994 about, seeth the discipleG3101 whom JesusG2424 lovedG25 followingG190; who alsoG2532 leaned backG1994 on his breastG4738 at the supperG1173, and saidG3004, LordG2962, who isG1510 he that betrayeth thee? 21PeterG4074 thereforeG3767 seeingG3708 him saith to JesusG2424, LordG2962, and what shall this manG3778 do? 22JesusG2424 saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I comeG2064, what is that to thee? followG190 thou me. 23This sayingG3004 thereforeG3767 wentG1831 forthG1831 among the brethren, that that discipleG3101 should not dieG599: yet JesusG2424 saidG3004 not unto him, that he should not dieG599; but, If I will that he tarry till I comeG2064, what is that to thee?

24This isG1510 the discipleG3101 that beareth witnessG3140 of these thingsG3778, and wroteG1125 these thingsG3778: and we know that his witnessG3140 isG1510 trueG227.

25And there areG1510 alsoG2532 manyG4183 otherG243 thingsG4183 which JesusG2424 did, the which if they should beG1510 writtenG1125 every oneG1520, I supposeG3633 that evenG2532 the worldG2889 itself would not contain the booksG975 that should beG1510 writtenG1125.
