Isaiah 6
American Standard Version
1In the yearH8141 that kingH4428 UzziahH5818 died I sawH7200 the LordH136 sittingH3427 upon a throneH3678, highH7311 and liftedH5375 up; and his train filledH4390 the templeH1964. 2Above him stoodH5975 the seraphim: each oneH259 had sixH8337 wingsH3671; with twain he coveredH3680 his faceH6440, and with twain he coveredH3680 his feetH7272, and with twain he did flyH5774. 3And oneH2088 cried unto another, and saidH559, HolyH6918, holyH6918, holyH6918, is Jehovah of hostsH6635: the whole earthH776 is full of his gloryH3519. 4And the foundations of the thresholdsH5592 shookH5128 at the voiceH6963 of him that cried, and the houseH1004 was filledH4390 with smokeH6227. 5Then saidH559 I, WoeH188 is me! for I am undone; because I am a manH376 of uncleanH2931 lipsH8193, and I dwellH3427 in the midstH8432 of a peopleH5971 of uncleanH2931 lipsH8193: for mine eyesH5869 have seenH7200 the KingH4428, Jehovah of hostsH6635.
6Then flewH5774 oneH259 of the seraphim unto me, having a live coal in his handH3027, which he had takenH3947 with the tongsH4457 from off the altarH4196: 7and he touchedH5060 my mouthH6310 with it, and saidH559, Lo, this hath touchedH5060 thy lipsH8193; and thine iniquityH5771 is taken awayH5493, and thy sinH2403 forgiven. 8And I heardH8085 the voiceH6963 of the LordH136, sayingH559, Whom shall I sendH7971, and who will goH7971 for us? Then I saidH559, HereH2005 am I; sendH7971 me. 9And he saidH559, Go, and tell this peopleH5971, HearH8085 ye indeed, but understandH995 not; and seeH7200 ye indeed, but perceiveH995 not. 10MakeH8085 the heartH3820 of this peopleH5971 fatH8080, and makeH8085 their earsH241 heavyH3513, and shut their eyesH5869; lestH6435 they seeH7200 with their eyesH5869, and hearH8085 with their earsH241, and understandH995 with their heartH3820, and turnH7725 again, and be healedH7495. 11Then saidH559 I, LordH136, how long? And he answered, Until citiesH5892 be wasteH8077 without inhabitantH3427, and housesH1004 without manH120, and the landH127 become utterly wasteH8077, 12and Jehovah have removedH7368 menH120 farH7368 awayH7368, and the forsaken places be manyH7227 in the midstH7130 of the landH776. 13And if there beH1961 yetH5750 a tenthH6224 in it, it also shall in turnH7725 beH1961 eaten up: as a terebinthH424, and as an oakH424, whose stock remaineth, when they are felled; so the holyH6944 seedH2233 is the stock thereof.
