Isaiah 20
American Standard Version
1In the yearH8141 that Tartan cameH935 unto AshdodH795, when Sargon the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804 sentH7971 him, and he foughtH3898 against AshdodH795 and tookH3920 it;
2at that timeH6256 Jehovah spake by IsaiahH3470 the sonH1121 of AmozH531, sayingH559, GoH1980, and loose the sackclothH8242 from off thy loinsH4975, and put thy shoe from off thy footH7272. And he did soH3651, walkingH1980 nakedH6174 and barefootH3182.
3And Jehovah saidH559, Like as my servantH5650 IsaiahH3470 hath walkedH1980 nakedH6174 and barefootH3182 threeH7969 yearsH8141 for a signH226 and a wonderH4159 concerning EgyptH4714 and concerning Ethiopia;
4soH3651 shall the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804 lead awayH5090 the captivesH7628 of EgyptH4714, and the exilesH1546 of Ethiopia, youngH5288 and oldH2205, nakedH6174 and barefootH3182, and with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of EgyptH4714.
5And they shall be dismayedH2865 and confounded, because of Ethiopia their expectation, and of EgyptH4714 their gloryH8597.
6And the inhabitantH3427 of this coast-land shall sayH559 in that dayH3117, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we fledH5127 for helpH5833 to be deliveredH5337 from the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804: and we, howH349 shall we escapeH4422?
