Isaiah 42:10-25

10SingH7891 unto Jehovah a newH2319 songH7892, and his praiseH8416 from the endH7097 of the earthH776; ye that goH3381 down to the seaH3220, and all that is therein, the isles, and the inhabitantsH3427 thereof. 11Let the wildernessH4057 and the citiesH5892 thereof liftH5375 up their voice, the villages that KedarH6938 doth inhabitH3427; let the inhabitantsH3427 of SelaH5554 singH7442, let them shoutH7442 from the topH7218 of the mountainsH2022. 12Let them give gloryH3519 unto Jehovah, and declareH5046 his praiseH8416 in the islandsH339. 13Jehovah will goH3318 forthH3318 as a mightyH1368 manH376; he will stirH5782 up his zealH7068 like a manH376 of warH4421: he will cryH7321, yea, he will shoutH7321 aloud; he will do mightily against his enemiesH341.

14I have longH5769 time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry out like a travailing woman; I will gasp and pant togetherH3162. 15I will lay waste mountainsH2022 and hillsH1389, and dryH3001 up all their herbs; and I will makeH7760 the riversH5104 islandsH339, and will dryH3001 up the poolsH98. 16And I will bring the blindH5787 by a wayH1870 that they knowH3045 not; in pathsH5410 that they knowH3045 not will I leadH1869 them; I will makeH7760 darkness lightH216 before them, and crooked placesH4285 straight. These thingsH1697 will I do, and I will not forsakeH5800 them. 17They shall be turnedH5472 backH268, they shall be utterly putH954 to shameH954, that trustH982 in graven imagesH4541, that sayH559 unto molten imagesH4541, Ye are our godsH430.

18HearH8085, ye deafH2795; and lookH7200, ye blindH5787, that ye may seeH7200. 19Who is blindH5787, but my servantH5650? or deafH2795, as my messengerH4397 that I sendH7971? who is blindH5787 as he that is at peace with me, and blindH5787 as Jehovah’s servantH5650? 20Thou seest manyH7227 things, but thou observest not; his earsH241 are openH6491, but he heareth not. 21It pleasedH2654 Jehovah, for his righteousness’H6664 sakeH4616, to magnifyH1431 the lawH8451, and makeH1431 it honorable. 22But this is a peopleH5971 robbed and plunderedH962; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hidH2244 in prison-houses: they are for a preyH957, and none delivereth; for a spoilH957, and none saith, RestoreH7725.

23Who is there among you that will giveH238 earH238 to this? that will hearken and hearH8085 for the time to come? 24Who gaveH5414 JacobH3290 for a spoilH962, and IsraelH3478 to the robbers? did not Jehovah? he against whom we have sinnedH2398, and in whose waysH1870 they wouldH14 not walkH1980, neither were they obedient unto his lawH8451. 25Therefore he pouredH8210 upon him the fierceness of his angerH639, and the strength of battleH4421; and it setH7760 him on fire roundH5439 about, yet he knewH3045 not; and it burnedH1197 him, yet he laid it not to heartH3820.
