Isaiah 42:10-25
10SingH7891 to the LordH3068 a 1newH2319 songH7892, Sing His praiseH8416 from the 2endH7097 of the earthH776! 3You who goH3381 downH3381 to the seaH3220, and 4allH4393 that is in it. You 5islandsH339, and those who dwellH3427 on them.11Let the 6wildernessH4057 and its citiesH5892 liftH5375 up their voices, The settlementsH2691 where 7KedarH6938 inhabitsH3427. Let the inhabitantsH3427 of 8SelaH5553 singH7442 aloudH7442, Let them shoutH6681 for joyH6681 from the topsH7218 of the 9mountainsH2022.12Let them 10giveH7760 gloryH3519 to the LordH3068 And declareH5046 His praiseH8416 in the 11coastlandsH339.1312The LordH3068 will goH3318 forthH3318 like a warriorH1368, He will arouseH5782 His 13zealH7068 like a manH376 of warH4421. He will utterH7321 a shoutH7321, yesH637, He will raiseH6873 a warH6873 cryH6873. He will 14prevailH1396 againstH5921 His enemiesH340.
14“15I have keptH2814 silentH2814 for a longH5769 timeH5769, I have keptH2814 stillH2790 and restrainedH662 Myself. Now like a woman in laborH3205 I will groanH6463, I will bothH3162 gaspH5395 and pantH7602.15I will 16layH2717 wasteH2717 the mountainsH2022 and hillsH1389 And witherH3001 allH3605 their vegetationH6212; I will 17makeH7760 the riversH5104 into coastlandsH339 And dryH3001 up the pondsH98.16I will 18leadH1980 the blindH5787 by a wayH1870 they do not knowH3045, In pathsH5410 they do not knowH3045 I will guideH1869 them. I will 19makeH7760 darknessH4285 into lightH216 beforeH6440 them And 20ruggedH4625 placesH4625 into plainsH4334. TheseH428 are the thingsH1697 I will doH6213, And I will 21not leaveH5800 them undoneH5800.”17They will be turnedH5472 backH268 and be 22utterlyH954 putH954 to shameH954, Who trustH982 in 23idolsH6459, Who sayH559 to moltenH4541 imagesH4541, “You are our godsH430.”
1824HearH8085, you deafH2795! And lookH5027, you blindH5787, that you may seeH7200.19WhoH4310 is blindH5787 but My 25servantH5650, Or so deafH2795 as My 26messengerH4397 whom I sendH7971? WhoH4310 is so blindH5787 as he that is 2728at peaceH7999 with Me, Or so blindH5787 as the servantH5650 of the LordH3068?2029You have seenH7200 manyH7227 thingsH7227, but you do not observeH8104 them; Your earsH241 are openH6491, but noneH3808 hearsH8085.21The LordH3068 was pleasedH2654 for His righteousness’H6664 sakeH4616 To makeH1431 the lawH8451 30greatH1431 and gloriousH142.22But thisH1931 is a peopleH5971 plunderedH962 and despoiledH8154; AllH3605 of them are 31trappedH6351 in 32cavesH2352, Or are 33hiddenH2244 away in prisonsH3608; They have becomeH1961 a preyH957 with noneH369 to deliverH5337 them, And a spoilH4933, with noneH369 to sayH559, “GiveH7725 them backH7725!”
23WhoH4310 among you will giveH238 earH238 to thisH2088? Who will giveH7181 heedH7181 and listenH8085 hereafterH268?24WhoH4310 gaveH5414 JacobH3290 up for spoilH4933, and IsraelH3478 to plunderersH962? Was it not the LordH3068, against whomH2098 we have sinnedH2398, And in whose waysH1870 they 34were not willingH14 to walkH1980, And whose lawH8451 they did not 35obeyH8085?25So He pouredH8210 out on him the heatH2534 of His angerH639 And the 36fiercenessH5807 of battleH4421; And it setH3857 him aflameH3857 allH4480H5439 aroundH5439, Yet he did not recognizeH3045 it; And it burnedH1197 him, but he 3738paidH7760 noH3808 attentionH5921H3820.
