Isaiah 42:10-25
10SingH7891 unto the LORDH3068 a newH2319 songH7892, and his praiseH8416 from the endH7097 of the earthH776; ye that goH3381 downH3381 to the seaH3220, and allH4393 that is therein, the islesH339, and the inhabitantsH3427 thereof. 11Let the wildernessH4057 and the citiesH5892 thereof liftH5375 upH5375 their voice, the villages that KedarH6938 doth inhabitH3427; let the inhabitantsH3427 of SelaH5554 singH7442, let them shoutH7442 from the topH7218 of the mountainsH2022. 12LetH5046 them giveH7760 gloryH3519 unto the LORDH3068, and declareH5046 his praiseH8416 in the islandsH339. 13The LORDH3068 shall goH3318 forthH3318 as a mightyH1368 manH376; he shall stirH5782 upH5921 jealousyH7068 like a manH376 of warH4421: he shall cryH7321, yea, he shall shoutH7321 aloudH7321; he shall doH637 mightily againstH5921 his enemiesH341. 14I have longH5769 time holden my peace; I have been stillH2814, and refrainedH2814 myself: now will I cry out like a travailing woman; I will gaspH5395 and pant togetherH3162. 15I will makeH7760 waste mountainsH2022 and hillsH1389, and dryH3001 upH3001 allH3605 their herbsH6212; and I will makeH7760 the riversH5104 islandsH339, and will dryH3001 upH3001 the poolsH98. 16And I will bringH7760 the blindH5787 by a wayH1870 that they knowH3045 notH3808; in pathsH5410 that they knowH3045 notH3808 will I leadH1869 them: I will makeH7760 darknessH4285 lightH216 beforeH6440 them, and crooked placesH4285 straight. TheseH428 things will I doH6213, and I will notH3808 forsakeH5800 them. 17They shall be turnedH5472 backH268, they shall be greatly ashamedH954, that trustH982 in gravenH6459 imagesH4541, that sayH559 unto molten imagesH4541, Ye are our godsH430. 18HearH8085, ye deafH2795; and lookH7200, ye blindH5787, that ye may seeH7200. 19Who is blindH5787, but my servantH5650? or deafH2795, as my messengerH4397 that I sendH7971? who is blindH5787 as he that is at peace with meH7971, and blindH5787 as the LORD’SH3068 servantH5650? 20Thou seest manyH7227 things, but thou observest notH3808; his earsH241 are openH6491, but he heareth notH3808. 21It pleasedH2654 the LORDH3068, for his righteousness’H6664 sakeH4616, to magnifyH1431 the lawH8451, and makeH1431 it honourable. 22But this is a peopleH5971 robbed and spoiled; they are allH3605 of them snared in holes, and they are hidH2244 in prisonH3608 housesH1004: they are for a preyH957, and noneH369 delivereth; for a spoilH957, and noneH369 saith, RestoreH7725. 23Who is there among youH8085 that will giveH238 earH238 to this? that will hearken and hearH8085 for the time to come? 24Who gaveH5414 JacobH3290 for a spoilH962, and IsraelH3478 to the robbers? didH3808 notH3808 the LORDH3068? he againstH2398 whomH4310 weH8085 have sinnedH2398, and in whoseH4310 waysH1870 they would notH3808 walkH1980, neitherH3808 were they obedientH8085 unto his lawH8451. 25Therefore he pouredH8210 uponH5921 him the furyH2534 of his angerH639, and the strengthH5807 of battleH4421; and it setH7760 him on fireH3857 roundH5439 aboutH5439, yet he knewH3045 notH3808; and it burnedH1197 him, yet he laidH7760 it notH3808 to heartH3820.
