31AndHe cameG2718downκατῆλθενkatēlthenG2718toCapernaumG2746,a cityπόλινpolinG4172of GalileeΓαλιλαίαςGalilaiasG1056;and He was teachingδιδάσκωνdidaskōnG1321them on the Sabbathσάββασιν.sabbasinG4521;

32andthey were amazedἐξεπλήσσοντοexeplēssontoG1605at His teachingδιδαχῇdidachēaG1322,becauseὅτιhotiG3754HismessageλόγοςlogosG3056was deliveredwith authorityἐξουσίᾳexousiaG1849.

33In the synagogueσυναγωγῇsunagōgēaG4864there was a manἄνθρωποςanthrōposG444possessedἔχωνechōnG2192by the spiritπνεῦμαpneumaG4151of an uncleanἀκαθάρτου,akathartouG169demonδαιμονίουdaimoniouG1140,and he criedG349outG349with a loudμεγάλῃ·megalēG3173voiceφωνῇphōnēaG5456,

34“LeaveG1436us aloneG1436!WhatτίtiG5101business do You have with us, JesusἸησοῦIēsouG2424ofNazarethΝαζαρηνέ;NazarēneG3479?Have You comeἦλθεςēlthesG2064to destroyἀπολέσαιapolesaiG622us? I knowG3609whoτίςtisG5101You are--the HolyἅγιοςhagiosG40OneG40of Godθεοῦ.theouG2316!”

35But JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424rebukedἐπετίμησενepetimēsenG2008him, sayingλέγων·legōnG3004,“Be quietφιμώθητιphimōthētiG5392and comeG1831outG1831of him!”And when the demonδαιμόνιονdaimonionG1140had thrownG4496him downG4496in the midstμέσονmesonG3319of the people,it cameG1831outG1831of him withoutG3367doingG984him anyG3367harmG984.

36And amazementθάμβοςthambosG2285cameἐγένετοegenetoG1096upon them allπάντας,pantasG3956, and they begantalkingσυνελάλουνsunelalounG4814with oneἀλλήλουςallēlousG240anotherG240,sayingλέγοντες·legontesG3004, “WhatτίςtisG5101isthisοὗτοςhoutosG3778messageλόγοςlogosG3056? Forwith authorityἐξουσίᾳexousiaG1849and powerδυνάμειdunameiG1411He commandsἐπιτάσσειepitasseiG2004the uncleanἀκαθάρτοιςakathartoisG169spiritsπνεύμασιν,pneumasinG4151,and they comeἐξέρχονται;¶exerchontaiG1831outG1831!”

37Andthe newsἦχοςēchosG2279aboutπερὶperiG4012Him was spreadingἐξεπορεύετοexeporeuetoG1607into everyπάνταpantaG3956localityτόπονtoponG5117of the surroundingπεριχώρου.¶perichōrouG4066regionG4066.

38ThenκαὶkaiG2532He gotG450upG450and leftthe synagogueσυναγωγῆςsunagōgēsG4864,and enteredεἰσῆλθενeisēlthenG1525Simon’sΣίμωνος.SimōnosG4613homeοἰκίανoikianG3614.NowG1161Simon’sΣίμωνοςSimōnosG4613mother-in-lawπενθερὰpentheraG3994wassufferingσυνεχομένηsunechomenēG4912from a highμεγάλῳ,megalōG3173feverπυρετῷpuretōG4446,and they askedἠρώτησανērōtēsanG2065Himto helpπερὶperiG4012her.

39And standingἐπιστὰςepistasG2186overἐπάνωepanōG1883her, HerebukedἐπετίμησενepetimēsenG2008the feverπυρετῷ,puretōG4446,and it leftἀφῆκενaphēkenG863her; and she immediatelyπαραχρῆμαparachrēmaG3916gotG450upG450and servedδιηκόνειdiēkoneiG1247them.

40NowG1161whilethe sunἡλίουhēliouG2246was settingΔύνοντοςDunontosG1416,allἅπαντεςhapantesG537thoseG3745whoG3745hadεἶχονeichonG2192any who weresickἀσθενοῦνταςasthenountasG770with variousποικίλαιςpoikilaisG4164diseasesνόσοιςnosoisG3554broughtἤγαγονēgagonG71them to Him; and He waslayingG2007His handsχεῖραςcheirasG5495onG2007eachἑκάστῳhekastōG1538oneἑνὶheniG1520of them andhealingἐθεράπευενetherapeuenG2323them.

41DemonsδαιμόνιαdaimoniaG1140alsoG2532were comingG1831outG1831of manyπολλῶνpollōnG4183,shoutingκραυγάζονταkraugazontaG2905, “You arethe SonυἱὸςhuiosG5207of Godθεοῦ.theouG2316!” And yet He wasrebukingἐπιτιμῶνepitimōnG2008them and wouldnot allowεἴαeiaG1439them to speakλαλεῖνlaleinG2980,becauseG3754they knewG3609that He was theChristχριστὸνchristonG5547.
