23JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424answeredἈπεκρίθηApekrithēG611and saidG3004to him, “IfἐάνeanG1437anyoneτιςtisG5100lovesἀγαπᾷagapaG25Me, he willfollowτηρήσει,tērēseiG5083My wordλόγονlogonG3056; andMy FatherπατήρpatērG3962will loveἀγαπήσειagapēseiG25him, and Wewill comeἐλευσόμεθαeleusomethaG2064to him and makeποιησόμεθα.poiēsomethaG4160OurdwellingμονὴνmonēnG3438with him.

24The one who does not loveἀγαπῶνagapōnG25Medoes not followτηρεῖ·tēreiG5083My wordsλόγουςlogousG3056; andthe wordλόγοςlogosG3056whichὃνhonG3739you hearἀκούετεakoueteG191is not MineG1699,but the Father’sπατρός.¶patrosG3962who sentπέμψαντόςpempsantosG3992Me.

25“TheseG3778thingsΤαῦταTautaG3778I have spokenλελάληκαlelalēkaG2980to you while remainingμένων·menōnG3306with you.

26But theHelperπαράκλητος,paraklētosG3875,the HolyἅγιονhagionG40SpiritπνεῦμαpneumaG4151whomG3739the FatherπατὴρpatērG3962will sendπέμψειpempseiG3992in My nameὀνόματίonomatiG3686,He will teachδιδάξειdidaxeiG1321you allG3956thingsG3956, andremindὑπομνήσειhupomnēseiG5279you of allG3956that I saidG3004to you.

27PeaceΕἰρήνηνEirēnēnG1515I leaveἀφίημιaphiēmiG863you, My peaceεἰρήνηνeirēnēnG1515I giveδίδωμιdidōmiG1325you; not as the worldκόσμοςkosmosG2889givesδίδωσιν,didōsinG1325,do I giveδίδωμιdidōmiG1325to you.Do not let your heartsκαρδίαkardiaG2588be troubledταρασσέσθωtarassesthōG5015,norμηδὲmēdeG3366fearfulδειλιάτω.deiliatōG1168.

28You heardἠκούσατεēkousateG191that I saidG3004to you, ‘I am goingG5217awayὑπάγωhupagōG5217, andI am comingἔρχομαιerchomaiG2064to you.’ IfεἰeiG1487you lovedἠγαπᾶτέēgapateG25Me, you would have rejoicedἐχάρητεecharēteG5463becauseG3754I am goingπορεύομαιporeuomaiG4198to the Fatherπατέρα,pateraG3962, forthe FatherπατὴρpatērG3962is greaterμείζωνmeizōnG3173than I.

29And nowνῦνnunG3568I have toldG3004you beforeπρὶνprinG4250it happensγενέσθαι,genesthaiG1096,soG2443thatG2443whenὅτανhotanG3752it happensγένηται,genētaiG1096,you may believeπιστεύσητε.¶pisteusēteG4100.

30I will not speakλαλήσωlalēsōG2980muchπολλὰpollaG4183moreG3765with you, forthe rulerἄρχων,archōnG758of the worldκόσμουkosmouG2889is comingἔρχεταιerchetaiG2064,and he hasἔχειecheiG2192nothingοὐδέν,oudenG3756 G3762in regard to Me,

31but soG2443thatG2443the worldκόσμοςkosmosG2889may knowγνῷgnōG1097that I loveἀγαπῶagapōG25the Fatherπατέρα,pateraG3962,I doποιῶ.¶poiōG4160exactlyοὕτωςhoutōsG3779asthe Fatherπατήρ,patērG3962commandedἐνετείλατόeneteilatoG1781Me.
