24The JewsἸουδαῖοιIoudaioiG2453thenοὖνounG3767surroundedἐκύκλωσανekuklōsanG2944Him and begansayingἔλεγονelegonG3004to Him, “HowG2193longπότεpoteG2193 G4219will You keepG142us inG5590 G142suspenseG5590 G142?IfεἰeiG1487You are theChristχριστός,christosG5547,tellG3004usplainlyπαρρησίᾳ.¶parrēsiaG3954.”

25JesusἸησοῦς·IēsousG2424answeredἈπεκρίθηApekrithēG611them, “I toldG3004you, and you do not believeπιστεύετε.pisteueteG4100;the worksἔργαergaG2041that I doποιῶpoiōG4160in My Father’sπατρόςpatrosG3962nameὀνόματιonomatiG3686,theseταῦταtautaG3778testifyμαρτυρεῖmartureiG3140of Me.

26But you do not believeπιστεύετε,pisteueteG4100,becauseὅτιhotiG3754you are not of My sheepπροβάτωνprobatōnG4263.

27My sheepπρόβαταprobataG4263listenἀκούουσιν,akouousinG191to My voiceφωνῆςphōnēsG5456, andI knowγινώσκωginōskōG1097them, and they followἀκολουθοῦσίνakolouthousinG190Me;

28and I giveδίδωμιdidōmiG1325themeternalαἰώνιον,aiōnionG166lifeζωὴνzōēnG2222,and they will neverοὐ μὴou mēG3756 G3361perishἀπόλωνταιapolōntaiG622; andnoοὐχouchG3756oneτιςtisG5100will snatchἁρπάσειharpaseiG726them out of My handχειρόςcheirosG5495.

29My FatherπατήρpatērG3962,whoὃhoG3739has givenδέδωκένdedōkenG1325themto Me, is greaterμεῖζόνmeizonG3173than allπάντωνpantōnG3956;and noG3762oneοὐδεὶςoudeisG3762is ableδύναταιdunataiG1410to snatchἁρπάζεινharpazeinG726themout of the Father’sπατρόςpatrosG3962handχειρὸςcheirosG5495.

30I and the FatherπατὴρpatērG3962areoneἕνhenG1520.”

31The JewsἸουδαῖοι,IoudaioiG2453pickedἘβάστασανEbastasanG941up stonesλίθουςlithousG3037againπάλινpalinG3825to stoneλιθάσωσινlithasōsinG3034Him.

32JesusἸησοῦς·IēsousG2424repliedἀπεκρίθηapekrithēG611to them,“I showedἔδειξαedeixaG1166you manyπολλὰpollaG4183goodκαλὰkalaG2570worksG2041from the FatherπατρόςpatrosG3962;for whichποῖονpoionG4169of them are you stoningλιθάζετε;¶lithazeteG3034Me?”

33The JewsἸουδαῖοιIoudaioiG2453answeredἀπεκρίθησανapekrithēsanG611Him, “We are not stoningλιθάζομένlithazomenG3034You for a goodκαλοῦkalouG2570workἔργουergouG2041, but forblasphemyβλασφημίας,blasphēmiasG988;and becauseὅτιhotiG3754You, beingὢνōnG1510a manἄνθρωποςanthrōposG444,makeποιεῖςpoieisG4160YourselfG4572out to beGodθεόν.¶theonG2316.”

34JesusἸησοῦς·IēsousG2424answeredἈπεκρίθηApekrithēG611them,“Has it not beenG1510writtenγεγραμμένονgegrammenonG1125in yourLawνόμῳnomōG3551: ‘I saidG3004,you are godsθεοίtheoiG2316’?

35IfεἰeiG1487he calledG3004them godsθεοὺςtheousG2316,to whomοὓςhousG3739the wordλόγοςlogosG3056of GodθεοῦtheouG2316cameἐγένετο,egenetoG1096(and the Scriptureγραφή,graphēG1124cannotοὐ δύναταιou dunataiG1410 G3756be nullifiedλυθῆναιluthēnaiG3089),

36are you sayingλέγετεlegeteG3004of Him whomὃνhonG3739the FatherπατὴρpatērG3962sanctifiedἡγίασενhēgiasenG37andsentἀπέστειλενapesteilenG649into the worldκόσμον,kosmonG2889, ‘You are blasphemingβλασφημεῖς,blasphēmeisG987,’becauseG3754I saidG3004, ‘I amεἰμι;eimiG1510the SonυἱὸςhuiosG5207of GodθεοῦtheouG2316’?

37IfεἰeiG1487I do not doποιῶpoiōG4160the worksἔργαergaG2041of My FatherπατρόςpatrosG3962,do not believeπιστεύετέpisteueteG4100Me;

38but ifεἰeiG1487I doποιῶ,poiōG4160them,evenG2579thoughG2579you do not believeπιστεύητε,pisteuēteG4100Me, believeπιστεύετεpisteueteG4100the worksἔργοιςergoisG2041,soἵναinaG2443thatG2443you mayknowγνῶτεgnōteG1097and understandγινώσκητεginōskēteG1097thatthe FatherπατὴρpatērG3962is in Me, and I in the Fatherπατρί.¶patriG3962.”
