5And thoseG3588indeedμὲνmenG3303ofthe sonsυἱῶνhuiōnG5207of LeviΛευὶLeuiG3017who receiveλαμβάνοντεςlambanontesG2983the priest’sG2405officeG2405haveἔχουσινechousinG2192a commandmentἐντολὴνentolēnG1785in the Lawνόμον,nomonG3551to collectG586aG586tenthG586from the peopleλαὸνlaonG2992,that is, from their countrymenἀδελφοὺςadelphousG80,althoughκαίπερkaiperG2539theyare descendedἐξεληλυθότας ὀσφύοςexelēluthotas osphuosG1831 G3751from AbrahamἈβραάμ.AbraamG11.

6But the onewhose genealogyG1075isG1075not tracedG1075from themcollectedG1183aG1183tenthG1183from AbrahamἈβραάμ·AbraamG11andblessedεὐλόγηκεν.eulogēkenG2127the one whohadἔχονταechontaG2192the promisesἐπαγγελίαςepangeliasG1860.

12For when the priesthoodἱερωσύνηςhi'erōsunēsG2420is changedμετατιθεμένηςmetatithemenēsG3346,of necessityἀνάγκηςanagkēsG318there takesG1096placeγίνεται.ginetaiG1096a changeμετάθεσιςmetathesisG3331of lawνόμουnomouG3551alsoκαὶkaiG2532.

13Forthe one aboutἐφ᾽eph᾽G1909whomὃνhonG3739theseG3778thingsταῦτα,tautaG3778are saidλέγεταιlegetaiG3004belongsμετέσχηκεν,meteschēkenG3348to anotherἑτέραςheterasG2087tribeφυλῆςphulēsG5443,from whichἧςhēsG3739noG3762oneοὐδεὶςoudeisG3762has officiatedπροσέσχηκενproseschēkenG4337at the altarθυσιαστηρίῳ.thusiastēriōG2379.

14For it is evidentπρόδηλονprodēlonG4271that our LordκύριοςkuriosG2962wasdescendedἀνατέταλκενanatetalkenG393from JudahἸούδαIoudaG2455,a tribeφυλὴνphulēnG5443with referenceεἰςeisG1519to whichἣνhēnG3739MosesΜωϋσῆςMōusēsG3475saidἐλάλησεν.¶elalēsenG2980nothingοὐδὲνoudenG3762concerningπερὶperiG4012priestsἱερέωνhi'ereōnG2409.

15And this is clearerκατάδηλόνkatadēlonG2612stillἔτιetiG2089,ifεἰeiG1487anotherἕτερος,heterosG2087priestἱερεὺςhi'ereusG2409arisesἀνίσταταιanistataiG450accordingκατὰkataG2596to the likenessὁμοιότηταhomoiotētaG3665of MelchizedekΜελχισέδεκMelchisedekG3198,

16whoὃςhosG3739has becomeγέγονενgegonenG1096a priestnot on the basisκατὰkataG2596of a lawνόμονnomonG3551ofphysicalσαρκίνηςsarkinēsG4560requirementἐντολῆςentolēsG1785,but accordingκατὰkataG2596to the powerδύναμινdunaminG1411ofan indestructibleἀκαταλύτου·akatalutouG179lifeζωῆςzōēsG2222.

17For it is attestedμαρτυρεῖταιmartureitaiG3140of Him, “You are a priestἱερεὺςhi'ereusG2409foreverαἰῶναaiōnaG165AccordingκατὰkataG2596to the orderτάξινtaxinG5010of MelchizedekΜελχισέδεκ.¶MelchisedekG3198.”
