Mark 15:16-41
And the soldiersG4757 ledG520 him awayG520 into the courtG833 which isG1510 [calledG4779 the] praetoriumG4232, and they call togetherG4779 the wholeG3650 band.
And they clothe him with purpleG4209, and bind round on him a crownG4735 of thorns which they had plaited.
And they beganG757 to salute him, HailG5463, KingG935 of the JewsG2453!
And they struckG5180 his headG2776 with a reedG2563, and spat on him, and, bending the kneeG1119, did him homage.
And whenG3753 they had mockedG1702 him, they took the purpleG4209 off him, and putG1746 his ownG2398 clothesG2440 on him; and they lead him out that they may crucifyG4717 him.
And they compel to go [with them] a certainG5100 passer-by, SimonG4613, a Cyrenian, comingG2064 from the fieldG68, the fatherG3962 of AlexanderG223 and RufusG4504, that he might carryG142 his crossG4716.
And they bringG5342 him to the placeG5117 [called] GolgothaG1115, which, beingG1510 interpreted, isG1510 PlaceG5117 of a skullG2898.
And they offered him wineG3631 [to drink] medicated with myrrh; but he did not takeG2983 [it].
And having crucifiedG4717 him, they part his clothesG2440 amongst [themselves], castingG906 lotsG2819 on them, what each oneG3588 should takeG142.
And it wasG1510 the thirdG5154 hourG5610, and they crucifiedG4717 him.
And the superscription of what he wasG1510 accused of wasG1510 written up: The KingG935 of the JewsG2453.
And with him they crucifyG4717 twoG1417 robbersG3027, oneG1520 on his rightG1188 handG1188, and oneG1520 on his left.
[And the scripture was fulfilled which says, And he was reckoned with the lawless.]
And they that passed by reviled him, shaking their headsG2776, and sayingG3004, Aha, thou that destroyest the templeG3485 and buildest it in threeG5140 daysG2250,
saveG4982 thyself, and descendG2597 from the crossG4716.
In like manner the chiefG749 priestsG749 alsoG2532, with the scribesG1122, mockingG1702 with oneG240 another, saidG3004, He savedG4982 othersG243; himself he cannot saveG4982.
Let the ChristG5547 the KingG935 of IsraelG2474 descendG2597 nowG3568 from the crossG4716, that we may seeG3708 and may believeG4100. And they that were crucified with him reproached him.
And when [the] sixthG1623 hourG5610 was comeG1096, there cameG1096 darknessG4655 over the wholeG3650 landG1093 until [the] ninth hourG5610;
and at the ninth hourG5610, JesusG2424 criedG994 with a loudG3173 voiceG5456, [saying], EloiG1682, EloiG1682, lama sabachthaniG4518? which isG1510, beingG1510 interpreted, My 1GodG2316, my 2GodG2316, whyG5101 hast thou forsakenG1459 me?
And some of those who stoodG3936 by, when they heardG191 [it], saidG3004, BeholdG2396, he calls for Elias.
And oneG5100, runningG5143 and fillingG1072 a spongeG4699 with vinegar, fixed it on a reedG2563, and gaveG4222 him to drinkG4222, sayingG3004, Let aloneG863, let us seeG3708 if Elias comesG2064 to take him downG2507.
And JesusG2424, having uttered a loudG3173 cryG5456, expired.
And the veilG2665 of the templeG3485 was rent in twoG1417 from the topG509 to the bottomG2736.
And the centurionG2760 who stoodG3936 by over against him, when he sawG3708 that he had expired having thusG3779 cried out, saidG3004, TrulyG230 this manG444 wasG1510 SonG5207 of 3GodG2316.
And there wereG1510 womenG1135 alsoG2532 lookingG2334 on from afar off, among whom wereG1510 both MaryG3137 of Magdala, and MaryG3137 the motherG3384 of JamesG2385 the less and of JosesG2500, and SalomeG4539;
who alsoG2532, whenG3753 he wasG1510 in GalileeG1056, followedG190 him and ministeredG1247 to him; and manyG4183 othersG243 who cameG4872 up with him to JerusalemG2414.
