Ezekiel 20:21-24
And the children rebelledH4784 against me: they walkedH1980 not in my statutesH2708, neither keptH8104 mine ordinancesH4941 to do them, which if a manH120 do, he shall live by them; they profanedH2490 my sabbathsH7676: and I saidH559 I would pourH8210 out my fury upon them, to accomplish mine angerH639 against them in the wildernessH4057.
But I withdrew my handH3027, and wrought for my name's sakeH4616, that it should not be profanedH2490 in the sight of the nationsH1471, in whose sight I had broughtH3318 them out.
I liftedH5375 up my handH3027 alsoH1571 unto them in the wildernessH4057, that I would scatterH2219 them among the nationsH1471, and disperseH2219 them through the countries;
because they performed not mine ordinancesH4941, and rejectedH3988 my statutesH2708, and profanedH2490 my sabbathsH7676, and their eyesH5869 wereH1961 after their fathers' idolsH1544.
