1I composed the firstG4413 discourse, O TheophilusG2321, concerningG4012 all thingsG3956 which JesusG2424 beganG757 both to do and to teachG1321,
2until that dayG2250 in which, having by the HolyG40 SpiritG4151 charged the apostlesG652 whom he had chosen, he was takenG353 up;
3to whom alsoG2532 he presentedG3936 himself livingG2198, after he had sufferedG3958, with manyG4183 proofs; being seen by them during fortyG5062 daysG2250, and speakingG3004 of the thingsG4183 which concern the kingdomG932 of 1GodG2316;
4and, being assembled with [them], commandedG3853 them not to depart from JerusalemG2414, but to await the promiseG1860 of the FatherG3962, which [said he] ye have heardG191 of me.
