1 Corinthians 2

1And I, whenG2064 I cameG2064 to you, brethren, cameG2064 not in excellency of wordG3056, or wisdomG4678, announcing to you the testimonyG3142 of 1GodG2316. 2For I did not judgeG2919 [it well] to know anythingG5100 among you save JesusG2424 ChristG5547, and him crucifiedG4717. 3And I was with you in weaknessG769 and in fearG5401 and in muchG4183 trembling; 4and my wordG3056 and my preachingG2782, not in persuasive wordsG3056 of wisdomG4678, but in demonstration of [the] SpiritG4151 and of powerG1411; 5that your faithG4102 might not stand in men's wisdomG4678, but in 2God's powerG1411. 6But we speakG2980 wisdomG4678 among the perfectG5046; but wisdomG4678 not of this world, nor of the rulersG758 of this world, who come to nought. 7But we speakG2980 3God's wisdomG4678 in [a] mysteryG3466, that hidden [wisdomG4678] which 4GodG2316 had predetermined before the agesG165 for our gloryG1391: 8which noneG3762 of the princes of this ageG165 knewG1097, (for had they knownG1097, they would not have crucifiedG4717 the LordG2962 of gloryG1391;) 9but according as it is writtenG1125, ThingsG3739 which eyeG3788 has not seenG3708, and earG3775 not heardG191, and which have not comeG305 into man's heartG2588, which 5GodG2316 has preparedG2090 for them that loveG25 him, 10but 6GodG2316 has revealedG601 to us by [his] SpiritG4151; for the SpiritG4151 searchesG2045 all thingsG3956, evenG2532 the depthsG899 of 7GodG2316. 11For who of menG444 hath knownG1097 the things of a manG444 except the spiritG4151 of the manG444 which is in him? thusG3779 alsoG2532 the things of 8GodG2316 knowsG1097 no oneG3762 except the SpiritG4151 of 9GodG2316. 12But we have receivedG2983, not the spiritG4151 of the worldG2889, but the SpiritG4151 which [is] of 10GodG2316, that we may know the things which have been freely given to us of 11GodG2316: 13which alsoG2532 we speakG2980, not in wordsG3056 taught by humanG442 wisdomG4678, but in those taught by the SpiritG4151, communicating spiritualG4152 [thingsG3739] by spiritualG4152 [means]. 14But [the] naturalG5591 manG444 does not receiveG1209 the things of the SpiritG4151 of 12GodG2316, for they areG1510 folly to him; and he cannot knowG1097 [them] because they areG1510 spiritually discerned; 15but the spiritualG4152 discerns all thingsG3956, and he is discerned of no oneG3762. 16For who has knownG1097 the mindG3563 of [the] LordG2962, who shall instruct him? But we have the mindG3563 of ChristG5547.
