2 and a certain τις tis G5100 man ἀνὴρ anēr G435 who was lame χωλὸς chōlos G5560 from his mother's womb κοιλίας koilias G2836 was being carried G941 , whom they placed G5087 every day ἡμέραν hēmeran G2250 at the gate of the temple called Beautiful ὡραίαν hōraian G5611 , to ask αἰτεῖν aitein G154 alms ἐλεημοσύνην eleēmosunēn G1654 of those who were going into the temple ; 3 who , seeing G3708 Peter Πέτρον Petron G4074 and John Ἰωάννην Iōannēn G2491 about to enter into the temple ἱερὸν hi'eron G2411 , asked ἠρώτα ērōta G2065 to receive λαβεῖν. labein G2983 alms ἐλεημοσύνην eleēmosunēn G1654 . 5 And he gave heed to them , expecting προσδοκῶν prosdokōn G4328 to receive λαβεῖν.¶ labein G2983 something τι ti G5100 from them . 6 But Peter Πέτρος· Petros G4074 said G3004 , Silver ἀργύριον argurion G694 and gold χρυσίον chrusion G5553 I have not ; 16 And , by faith πίστει pistei G4102 in his name ὀνόματος onomatos G3686 , his name ὄνομα onoma G3686 has made this [ man G3778 ] strong whom ye behold and know ; and the faith πίστις pistis G4102 which is by him has given G1325 him this complete soundness in the presence of you all . 17 And now νῦν, nun G3568 , brethren , I know that ye did it in ignorance ἄγνοιαν agnoian G52 , as also G2532 your rulers ἄρχοντες archontes G758 ;
