Isaiah 63:8-16
8For he saidH559, SurelyH389, they are my peopleH5971, children that will not dealH8266 falselyH8266: so he wasH1961 their Saviour. 9In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angelH4397 of his presenceH6440 savedH3467 them: in his loveH160 and in his pity he redeemedH1350 them; and he bare them, and carriedH5375 them all the daysH3117 of old.
10But they rebelledH4784, and grieved his holyH6944 SpiritH7307: therefore he was turnedH2015 to be their enemyH341, andhimself foughtH3898 against them. 11Then he rememberedH2142 the daysH3117 of old, MosesH4872andhis peopleH5971, saying, WhereH346 is he that broughtH5927 them up out of the seaH3220 with the shepherdsH7462 of his flockH6629? whereH346 is he that putH7760 his holyH6944 SpiritH7307 in the midstH7130 of them? 12that caused his glorious armH2220 to go at the rightH3225 handH3225 of MosesH4872? that divided the watersH4325 before them, to makeH6213 himself an everlasting nameH8034? 13that led them through the depthsH8415, as a horseH5483 in the wildernessH4057, so that they stumbledH3782 not? 14As the cattleH929 that goH3381 down into the valleyH1237, the SpiritH7307 of Jehovah caused them to restH5117: soH3651 didst thou lead thy peopleH5971, to makeH6213 thyself a glorious nameH8034.
15LookH7200 down from heavenH8064, and behold from the habitation of thy holinessH6944 and of thy gloryH8597: whereH346 are thy zealH7068 and thy mightyH1369 acts? the yearning of thy heart and thy compassionsH7356 are restrainedH662 toward me. 16For thou art our FatherH1, though AbrahamH85 knoweth us not, and IsraelH3478 doth not acknowledge us: thou, O Jehovah, art our FatherH1; our RedeemerH1350 from everlasting is thy nameH8034.
