Isaiah 63:8-16
8For He saidH559, “SurelyH389, they are 1My peopleH5971, SonsH1121 who will not dealH8266 falselyH8266.” So He becameH1961 their 2SaviorH3467.9In allH3605 their afflictionH6869 34He was afflictedH6862, And the 5angelH4397 of His presenceH6440 savedH3467 them; In His 6loveH160 and in His mercyH2551 He 7redeemedH1350 them, And He 8liftedH5190 them and carriedH5375 them allH3605 the daysH3117 of oldH5769.10But they 9rebelledH4784 And grievedH6087 His 10HolyH6944 SpiritH7307; Therefore He turnedH2015 Himself to become their enemyH340, He foughtH3898 against them.11Then 11His peopleH5971 rememberedH2142 the daysH3117 of oldH5769, of MosesH4872. WhereH346 is 12He who broughtH5927 them up out of the seaH3220 with the 13shepherdsH7462 of His flockH6629? WhereH346 is He who 14putH7760 His HolyH6944 SpiritH7307 in the midstH7130 of 15them,12Who caused His 16gloriousH8597 armH2220 to goH1980 at the rightH3225 handH3225 of MosesH4872, Who 17dividedH1234 the watersH4325 beforeH4480H6440 them to makeH6213 for Himself an everlastingH5769 nameH8034,13Who ledH1980 them through the depthsH8415? Like the horseH5483 in the wildernessH4057, they did not 18stumbleH3782;14As the cattleH929 which goH3381 downH3381 into the valleyH1237, The SpiritH7307 of the 19LordH3068 gaveH5117 20them restH5117. SoH3651 You 21ledH5090 Your peopleH5971, To makeH6213 for Yourself a gloriousH8597 nameH8034.
1522LookH5027 downH5027 from heavenH8064 and seeH7200 from Your holyH6944 and gloriousH8597 23habitationH2073; WhereH346 are Your 24zealH7068 and Your mightyH1369 deedsH1369? The 25stirringsH1995 of Your heartH4578 and Your compassionH7356 are restrainedH662 towardH413 me.16For You are our 26FatherH1, thoughH3588 27AbrahamH85 does not knowH3045 us And IsraelH3478 does not recognizeH5234 us. You, O LordH3068, are our FatherH1, Our 28RedeemerH1350 from of oldH5769 is Your nameH8034.
