18Soοὖν·ounG3767He was sayingἜλεγενElegenG3004, “WhatτίνιtiniG5101is the kingdomβασιλείαbasileiaG932of Godθεοῦ,theouG2316likeὁμοίαhomoiaG3664,and to whatτίνιtiniG5101shall I compareὁμοιώσωhomoiōsōG3666it?

19It is likeὁμοίαhomoiaG3664a mustardσινάπεωςsinapeōsG4615seedκόκκῳkokkōG2848,whichὃνhonG3739a manἄνθρωποςanthrōposG444tookλαβὼνlabōnG2983and threwἔβαλενebalenG906into his ownἑαυτοῦ,he'autouG1438gardenκῆπονkēponG2779;and it grewηὔξησενēuxēsenG837and becameἐγένετοegenetoG1096a treeδένδρονdendronG1186, andthe birdsπετεινὰpeteinaG4071of the skyοὐρανοῦouranouG3772nestedκατεσκήνωσενkateskēnōsenG2681in its branchesκλάδοιςkladoisG2798.”

20And againπάλινpalinG3825He saidG3004, “To whatτίνιtiniG5101shall I compareὁμοιώσωhomoiōsōG3666the kingdomβασιλείανbasileianG932of Godθεοῦ;theouG2316?

21It is likeὁμοίαhomoiaG3664leavenζύμῃzumēG2219,whichG3739a womanγυνὴgunēG1135tookλαβοῦσαlabousaG2983and hidG2928inthreeτρίαtriaG5140sataσάταsataG4568of flourἀλεύρουaleurouG224untilἕωςhe'ōsG2193it was allὅλον.¶holonG3650leavenedἐζυμώθηezumōthēG2220.”

22And He was passingG1279throughG1279one cityπόλειςpoleisG4172and villageκώμαςkōmasG2968afterG2596anotherG2596,teachingδιδάσκωνdidaskōnG1321, andproceedingποιούμενοςpoioumenosG4160on His wayπορείανporeianG4197to JerusalemἹεροσόλυμα.¶Hi'erosolumaG2414.

23And someoneτιςtisG5100saidG3004to Him, “Lordκύριε,kurieG2962, are there justa fewὀλίγοιoligoiG3641who are being savedσῳζόμενοι;sōzomenoiG4982?”And He saidG3004to them,

24“StriveἀγωνίζεσθεagōnizestheG75to enterεἰσελθεῖνeiseltheinG1525throughδιὰdiaG1223the narrowστενῆςstenēsG4728doorθύρας·thurasG2374;for manyπολλοί,polloiG4183,I tellλέγωlegōG3004you, will seekζητήσουσινzētēsousinG2212to enterεἰσελθεῖνeiseltheinG1525and will not beG2480ableἰσχύσουσιν.ischusousinG2480.

25Onceἀφ᾽ οὗaph᾽ houG575 G3739the headG3617ofG3617theG3617houseοἰκοδεσπότηςoikodespotēsG3617getsG1453upG1453andshutsἀποκλείσῃapokleisēG608the doorθύρανthuranG2374,and you beginἄρξησθεarxēstheG757standingἑστάναιhestanaiG2476outsideἔξωexōG1854and knockingκρούεινkroueinG2925on the doorθύρανthuranG2374,sayingλέγοντες·legontesG3004, ‘LordκύριεkurieG2962,openἄνοιξονanoixonG455upG455to us!’ and He thenwill answerἀποκριθεὶςapokritheisG611and sayG3004to you, ‘I do not knowG3609whereπόθενpothenG4159you are from.’

26ThenτότεtoteG5119you willbeginἄρξεσθεarxestheG757sayingλέγειν·legeinG3004, ‘We ateG2068and drankἐπίομεν,epiomenG4095inG1799Your presenceἐνώπιόνenōpionG1799,and You taughtἐδίδαξας·edidaxasG1321in our streetsπλατείαιςplateiaisG4116!’

27And yet He willsayλέγωνlegōnG3004, ‘I do not knowG3609whereπόθενpothenG4159you are from;leaveἀπόστητεapostēteG868Me, allπάντεςpantesG3956youevildoersἐργάται ἀδικίας.ergatai adikiasG2040 G93.’

28In that placeἐκεῖekeiG1563thereἔσταιestaiG1510will be weepingκλαυθμὸςklauthmosG2805and gnashingβρυγμὸςbrugmosG1030of teethὀδόντων,odontōnG3599whenὅτανhotanG3752you seeG3708AbrahamἈβραὰμAbraamG11,IsaacἸσαὰκIsaakG2464,JacobἸακὼβIakōbG2384,and allπάνταςpantasG3956the prophetsπροφήταςprophētasG4396in the kingdomβασιλείᾳbasileiaG932of Godθεοῦ,theouG2316,but yourselvesὑμᾶςhumasG4771being thrownG1544outG1544.

29And theywill comeἥξουσινhēxousinG2240from eastἀνατολῶνanatolōnG395and westδυσμῶνdusmōnG1424,and from northβορρᾶborraG1005and southνότουnotouG3558,and will reclineἀνακλιθήσονταιanaklithēsontaiG347at the tablein the kingdomβασιλείᾳbasileiaG932of Godθεοῦ.theouG2316.

30And beholdἰδοὺidouG2400, someare lastἔσχατοιeschatoiG2078whoοἳhoiG3739will be firstπρῶτοι,prōtoiG4413, and someare firstπρῶτοιprōtoiG4413whoοἳhoiG3739will be lastἔσχατοι.¶eschatoiG2078.”
