13but you knowG3609that it was becauseδι᾽di᾽G1223of abodilyσαρκὸςsarkosG4561illnessἀσθένειανastheneianG769that I preachedG2097the gospelG2097to you thefirstG4387timeG4387;

14and you did not despiseἐξουθενήσατεexouthenēsateG1848that whichG3986wasG3986aG3986trialG3986to you in mybodilyG4561conditionG4561,norοὐδὲoudeG3761expressG1609contemptG1609, butyou receivedἐδέξασθέedexastheG1209me as an angelἄγγελονangelonG32of GodθεοῦtheouG2316,as ChristΧριστὸνChristonG5547JesusἸησοῦν.¶IēsounG2424Himself.

15WhereΠοῦPouG4226thenοὖνounG3767isthat senseG3108ofG3108blessingG3108you had? For I testifyμαρτυρῶmarturōG3140about you that, ifεἰeiG1487possibleδυνατόν,dunatonG1415,you would have tornG1846outG1846your eyesὀφθαλμοὺςophthalmousG3788and givenἐδώκατέedōkateG1325them to me.

16SoὥστεhōsteG5620have I becomeγέγοναgegonaG1096your enemyἐχθρὸςechthrosG2190bytellingG226you theG226truthἀληθεύωνalētheuōnG226?

17They eagerlyG2206seekG2206you, notin a commendableG2573wayG2573,but they wantθέλουσιν,thelousinG2309to shutG1576you outG1576soἵναinaG2443thatG2443you will seekG2206them.

18But it is goodG2570alwaysπάντοτε,pantoteG3842to be eagerlyG2206soughtG2206in a commendableG2570wayG2570, andnot onlyG3440whenG1722I amG3918presentπαρεῖναίpareinaiG3918with you.

19My childrenτέκναteknaG5043,with whomG3739I amG5605againπάλινpalinG3825inG5605laborG5605untilμέχριςmechrisG3360ChristΧριστὸςChristosG5547is formedμορφωθῇmorphōthēaG3445in you--

26Butthe JerusalemἸερουσαλὴμIerousalēmG2419aboveἄνωanōG507is freeἐλευθέραeleutheraG1658;she is our motherμήτηρmētērG3384.

27For it is writtenγέγραπταιgegraptaiG1125: “RejoiceεὐφράνθητιeuphranthētiG2165,infertileστεῖραsteiraG4723one, you who do not giveG5088birthG5088;BreakG4486forthG4486and shoutβόησονboēsonG994,you who areG5605not inG5605laborG5605;For the childrenτέκναteknaG5043of the desolateἐρήμουerēmouG2048one aremoreG4183numerousG4183ThanἢēG2228thoseof the one who hasἐχούσηςechousēsG2192a husbandἄνδρα.andraG435.”
