Luke 6:1-19
And it cameG1096 to passG1096 on [the] second-first sabbathG4521, that he went through cornfields, and his disciplesG3101 were plucking the ears and eatingG2068 [them], rubbing [them] in their handsG5495.
But some of the PhariseesG5330 saidG3004 to them, WhyG5101 do ye what is not lawfulG1832 to do on the sabbathG4521?
And JesusG2424 answeringG611 saidG3004 to them, Have ye not readG314 so much as this, what DavidG1138 did when he hungered, he and those who wereG1510 with him,
howG5613 he enteredG1525 into the houseG3624 of 1GodG2316 and tookG2983 the shewbread and ateG2068, and gaveG1325 to those alsoG2532 who were with him, which it is not lawfulG1832 that [any] eatG2068, unless the priestsG2409 aloneG3441?
And he saidG3004 to them, The SonG5207 of manG444 isG1510 LordG2962 of the sabbathG4521 alsoG2532.
And it cameG1096 to passG1096 on another sabbathG4521 alsoG2532 that he enteredG1525 into the synagogueG4864 and taughtG1321; and there wasG1510 a manG444 there, and his rightG1188 handG5495 wasG1510 witheredG3584.
And the scribesG1122 and the PhariseesG5330 were watchingG3906 if he would healG2323 on the sabbathG4521, that they might findG2147 something of which to accuseG2723 him.
But he knew their thoughtsG1261, and saidG3004 to the manG435 who had the witheredG3584 handG5495, Get up, and standG2476 in the midstG3319. And having risenG1453 up he stoodG2476 [there].
JesusG2424 therefore saidG3004 to them, I will askG1905 you if it is lawfulG1832 on the sabbathG4521 to do goodG15, or to do evilG2554? to saveG4982 lifeG5590, or to destroyG622 [it]?
And having lookedG4017 around on them all, he saidG3004 to him, StretchG1614 out thy handG5495. And he did [so] and his handG5495 was restored as the other.
But they were filledG4130 with madness, and they spoke together among themselves what they should do to JesusG2424.
And it cameG1096 to passG1096 in those daysG2250 that he wentG1831 out into the mountainG3735 to prayG4336, and he spent the night in prayerG4335 to 2GodG2316.
And whenG3753 it was dayG2250 he called his disciplesG3101, and having chosen out twelveG1427 from them, whom alsoG2532 he named apostlesG652:
SimonG4613, to whom alsoG2532 he gave the name of PeterG4074, and AndrewG406 his brotherG80, [and] JamesG2385 and JohnG2491, [and] PhilipG5376 and BartholomewG918,
[and] MatthewG3156 and ThomasG2381, JamesG2385 the [son] of Alphaeus and SimonG4613 who was calledG2564 ZealotG2208,
[and] JudasG2455 [brother] of JamesG2385, and JudasG2455 Iscariote, who was alsoG2532 [his] betrayer;
and having descendedG2597 with them, he stoodG2476 on a level placeG5117, and a crowdG3793 of his disciplesG3101, and a greatG4183 multitudeG4128 of the peopleG2992 from all Judaea and JerusalemG2419, and the sea coast of TyreG5184 and SidonG4605, who cameG2064 to hearG191 him, and to be healedG2390 of their diseasesG3554;
and those that were beset by uncleanG169 spiritsG4151 were healedG2323.
And all the crowdG3793 soughtG2212 to touchG681 him, for powerG1411 wentG1831 out from him and healedG2390 all.
