Luke 2:22-32
And whenG3753 the daysG2250 were fulfilled for their purifying accordingG2596 to the lawG3551 of MosesG3475, they broughtG321 him to JerusalemG2414 to presentG3936 [him] to the LordG2962
(as it is writtenG1125 in the lawG3551 of [the] LordG2962: Every maleG730 that opensG1272 the wombG3388 shall be calledG2564 holyG40 to the LordG2962),
and to offer a sacrificeG2378 accordingG2596 to what is saidG3004 in the lawG3551 of [the] LordG2962: A pair of turtle dovesG4058, or twoG1417 young pigeons.
And beholdG2400, there wasG1510 a manG444 in JerusalemG2419 whose nameG3686 wasG1510 SimeonG4826; and this manG444 wasG1510 justG1342 and pious, awaiting the consolation of IsraelG2474, and [the] HolyG40 SpiritG4151 wasG1510 upon him.
And it wasG1510 divinely communicated to him by the HolyG40 SpiritG4151, that he should not seeG3708 deathG2288 before he should seeG3708 [the] Lord's ChristG5547.
And he cameG2064 in the SpiritG4151 into the temple; and as the parentsG1118 broughtG1521 in the childG3813 JesusG2424 that they might do for him accordingG2596 to the custom of the lawG3551,
he receivedG1209 him into his arms, and blessedG2127 1GodG2316, and saidG3004,
LordG1203, nowG3568 thou lettest thy bondman goG630, accordingG2596 to thy word, in peaceG1515;
for mineG1473 eyesG3788 have seenG3708 thy salvation,
which thou hast preparedG2090 before the faceG4383 of all peoplesG2992;
a lightG5457 for revelationG602 of [the] GentilesG1484 and [the] gloryG1391 of thy peopleG2992 IsraelG2474.
