2And JesusG2424 alsoG2532, and his disciplesG3101, were invited to the marriageG1062.

3And wineG3631 beingG1510 deficient, the motherG3384 of JesusG2424 saysG3004 to him, They have no wineG3631.

4JesusG2424 saysG3004 to her, What have I to do with thee, womanG1135? mineG1473 hourG5610 has not yet comeG2240.

5His motherG3384 saysG3004 to the servantsG1249, Whatever he may sayG3004 to you, do.

6NowG1161 there wereG1510 standing there sixG1803 stoneG3035 water-vessels, accordingG2596 to the purificationG2512 of the JewsG2453, holding twoG1417 or threeG5140 measures each.

7JesusG2424 saysG3004 to them, FillG1072 the water-vessels with waterG5204. And they filledG1072 them up to the brim.

8And he saysG3004 to them, DrawG501 out nowG1161, and carryG5342 [it] to the feast-master. And they carried [it].

9But whenG5613 the feast-master had tastedG1089 the waterG5204 which had beenG1510 made wineG3631 (and knew not whence it wasG1510, but the servantsG1249 knew who drew the waterG5204), the feast-master callsG5455 the bridegroomG3566,

10and saysG3004 to him, Every manG444 sets on firstG4413 the goodG2570 wineG3631, and whenG3752 [menG444] have well drunkG3184, then the inferior; thou hast keptG5083 the goodG2570 wineG3631 till now.

11This beginning of signsG4592 did JesusG2424 in CanaG2580 of GalileeG1056, and manifestedG5319 his gloryG1391; and his disciplesG3101 believedG4100 on him.

12After this he descendedG2597 to CapernaumG2584, he and his motherG3384 and his brethren and his disciplesG3101; and there they abode not manyG4183 daysG2250.
